Display: higher listed resolution on Motorola, same refresh rate
Both phones list a 120 Hz refresh rate. Motorola specifies a 2712 × 1220, 1.5K pOLED panel, while Samsung specifies a 1080 × 2340 FHD+ Super AMOLED panel. The Edge 60 Fusion therefore has the higher listed pixel resolution; the panel technologies, screen sizes and shapes also differ. Specifications alone cannot establish which screen looks better in everyday use.

Motorola names the Edge 60 Fusion’s processor as the MediaTek Dimensity 7400. Samsung’s cited India specifications list two octa-core CPU speeds—2.4 GHz and 1.8 GHz—but do not identify the chipset in the available page text. Those clock speeds are not enough to rank performance or predict benchmark results.
Memory and storage depend on the exact Samsung listing: its India specs page shows 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, while its purchase page surfaced a 6 GB/128 GB option. Motorola lists 8 GB or 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage. Confirm the precise SKU before comparing prices or buying.
microSD expansion
Both India listings support microSD cards. Motorola states support up to 1 TB; Samsung states up to 2 TB and identifies the slot as hybrid SIM/microSD. The higher stated capacity may matter if you keep large offline media libraries, but Samsung’s hybrid slot affects how that expansion fits with SIM use.

Samsung lists a 50 MP main camera with OIS, alongside 5 MP and 2 MP rear cameras. The available Motorola India specification excerpt does not provide a complete rear-camera array, so a feature-by-feature comparison is not possible from these listings. Megapixel counts alone also do not establish which phone takes better photos.
Battery and charging
Motorola lists a 5,500 mAh battery and 68 W TurboPower charging. Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh battery and claims up to 23 hours of video playback; its cited India specification text does not state a charging wattage. Battery capacity and a manufacturer playback claim are not equivalent to matched real-world endurance tests, so they do not prove which phone lasts longer in typical use.
Build, dimensions and durability
Motorola lists the Edge 60 Fusion at 180.1 g and makes IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H protection claims. Samsung lists the Galaxy A27 5G at 200 g, with dimensions of 162.4 × 78.2 × 7.8 mm. The cited Samsung India excerpt does not include a corresponding water-resistance claim. These manufacturer statements should not be treated as proof that the phones were tested under identical standards or conditions.

Motorola’s India page lists Android 15 and “3 OS + 4 Years SMR.” Samsung’s India specifications page lists security updates through July 31, 2032. Samsung Spain’s business page describes up to six OS upgrades and six years of security and maintenance updates, but that is regional support information and should not be substituted for the terms applicable to an India unit. Check the policy for the country and exact model you plan to buy.

Which one should you buy?
- Consider the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion if the higher listed display resolution, 68 W charging, larger stated battery capacity or 256 GB internal storage in the listed configuration better suits your priorities.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G if OIS on the specified 50 MP main camera, a higher stated microSD ceiling or Samsung’s India-listed security update end date matters more to you.
- Compare local, matching SKUs if price is decisive. The available India snapshots use different RAM/storage configurations, and live offers can change.
