The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is the better fit if you want a smaller phone, a dedicated 3× optical-zoom camera, or wireless charging. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion gives you a larger display and a higher stated battery capacity. Neither is an automatic value winner: the available euro prices are launch or MSRP context, not verified current offers, so compare equivalent models and warranty terms in your country.

Does the Edge 50 Neo have a better camera?

The Neo has more camera hardware flexibility, particularly for distant subjects: its dedicated 10MP telephoto camera provides 3× optical zoom and optical image stabilization. The Fusion comparison lists a dual-camera system with a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide, but no dedicated telephoto lens.

That gives the Neo a hardware advantage when you want optical-zoom framing. It does not establish that the Neo takes better photographs overall; the available comparison does not provide a controlled image-quality test.

Battery capacity, charging and durability

The Fusion has the larger stated battery capacity, 5200mAh versus 4310mAh for the Neo. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in real use. Both support 68W wired charging in the cited specifications, while the Neo additionally lists 15W wireless charging.

Both models have an IP68 rating in the cited Motorola specifications. A rating is not a promise that a phone is damage-proof, and it does not by itself mean water damage is covered by warranty. Check the terms that apply in your market.

Software and updates

Motorola’s Edge 50 Neo page lists Android 14, while its Edge 60 Fusion page references Android 15. Those are the software versions shown on the cited product specification pages; they do not establish either phone’s current installed version or its remaining support period. Check Motorola’s support information for the exact model and region before buying if update longevity matters.

What is the price difference?

There is no verified current, like-for-like local price gap in the available figures. Motorola announced a starting price of €499 for the Edge 50 Neo in selected European markets in 2024. PhoneArena’s comparison page, accessed in 2026, shows MSRP context of €499 for an Edge 50 Neo 8GB/256GB configuration and €329 for an Edge 60 Fusion 8GB/256GB configuration. The €170 difference is only the arithmetic difference between those comparison-page MSRP entries; it is not a confirmed current retail saving.

Which Motorola should you choose?

  • Choose the Edge 50 Neo if a smaller, lighter body, dedicated optical telephoto camera or wireless charging matters most to you.
  • Choose the Edge 60 Fusion if you prefer a larger display and higher stated battery capacity, and its local price is competitive.
  • Compare local offers before deciding on value. A launch price or MSRP label does not tell you what either model costs today, or whether the offer has equivalent storage and warranty coverage.
