The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is the larger-screen option, while the vivo X300 FE pairs a more compact display with a higher-tier listed chipset, a larger battery, faster rated charging and a dedicated optical telephoto camera. Which makes more sense depends on whether screen size and refresh rate or compactness and camera versatility matter more—and on the current price of the exact India variant you are considering.
The specifications below come from Motorola India and vivo India. Prices are a separate, third-party snapshot rather than verified live checkout offers; specifications and prices can differ by country and SKU.

Which display and size suit you?
Edge 50 Fusion: more screen and a higher refresh rate
Motorola lists a 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Choose it if a larger viewing area and the higher listed refresh rate are priorities.

X300 FE: a smaller, higher-resolution panel
The vivo’s 6.31-inch AMOLED display has a listed resolution of 2640 × 1216 and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Its smaller dimensions make it the more compact-screen choice; the specification alone does not establish which display looks better in everyday use.
How do their processors and storage compare?
The manufacturer specifications place the phones in different listed chipset tiers: Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 for the Motorola and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the vivo. That is a spec-sheet distinction, not a measured comparison of speed, gaming performance, heat or battery efficiency.
Motorola lists 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of built-in storage. vivo lists LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage, with published configurations including 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB; its page says expandable ROM is not supported. Match the exact RAM and storage configuration when comparing local offers, since availability can vary by market.

What do you get from the camera systems?
vivo specifies three rear cameras: a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 50 MP OIS telephoto camera based on Sony IMX882, and an 8 MP wide-angle camera. Its product overview describes 3× optical zoom, giving the X300 FE a specifically documented telephoto option. vivo also says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and sold separately; see the official product overview.
The Motorola support page cited here does not document enough camera detail for a complete like-for-like comparison. Nor do megapixel counts establish real-world photo quality. The available specifications support identifying the vivo’s dedicated telephoto hardware, but not declaring an independently tested camera winner.
Battery capacity and charging ratings
Motorola lists a 5,000 mAh battery and 68 W TurboPower charging. vivo lists a 6,500 mAh typical capacity (6,350 mAh rated) and up to 90 W FlashCharge; the page notes that charging power is dynamically adjusted. These figures do not establish which phone lasts longer or how quickly either charges in a particular situation, because no comparable independent test results are provided.

Water resistance and connectivity
Motorola lists IP68 protection. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 and cautions that resistance to splashes, water and dust is not permanent and may diminish with daily use; its product page also describes laboratory test conditions. Treat protection ratings as product specifications, not a guarantee against damage in every situation.

India price difference: use the snapshot cautiously
A 91mobiles comparison page showed ₹18,999 for the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion and ₹86,999 for the vivo X300 FE. The page was accessed in 2026, but its original publication date is not stated; these are third-party, stale-prone figures, not verified live checkout prices or official MSRP. The listed gap is ₹68,000, calculated from that snapshot, and should not be treated as a current offer comparison.
Before deciding on price, compare both phones in the same market, on the same date, with matching storage tiers and any seller, stock or offer conditions made clear. The snapshot is at 91mobiles’ comparison page.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Edge 50 Fusion if you prefer a 6.67-inch screen, 144 Hz refresh, or a listed India configuration with 128 GB storage.
- Consider the X300 FE if a smaller 6.31-inch display, its listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, documented 3× optical telephoto camera, or larger rated battery capacity better matches your priorities.
- Compare exact local variants before purchase if price, storage, network bands or SIM support will decide the choice. The cited India price figures are not current verified checkout offers.
