For buyers in India, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is the screen-and-charging choice, while the moto g67 Power 5G prioritizes a larger battery. Motorola’s India specification pages list the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 platform in both, so the clearest differences are the display, battery capacity, charging capability and published protection ratings. A like-for-like current price gap cannot be confirmed from the available listings.

This comparison uses Motorola’s India listings, specifically the dedicated moto g67 Power 5G model. Motorola notes that specifications may vary by market, and similarly named regional models can have different hardware.

Which phone has the better display?

The Edge 50 Fusion has the more feature-rich panel on paper: its India specification page lists a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color. The G67 Power 5G uses a slightly larger 6.7-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i. Both are large, high-refresh Full HD+ displays; the main choice is pOLED versus LCD, rather than screen size.

The specifications establish panel type and refresh rate, but they do not establish which screen is brighter or better calibrated in real-world use. If those qualities matter most, look for measurements of the exact India models rather than inferring them from the refresh-rate figures.

Battery capacity or faster charging?

The G67 Power 5G has the larger stated battery: 7,000 mAh against 5,000 mAh in the Edge 50 Fusion. That capacity advantage makes the G67 the more battery-focused option by specification, but it does not prove how long either phone lasts between charges. Motorola’s listed figures are not comparative runtime tests.

The charging trade-off goes the other way. Motorola lists 68W TurboPower for the Edge 50 Fusion and 30W charging capability for the G67 Power 5G. Those wattages describe stated charging capability, not a measured time to full charge.

How do protection and durability claims differ?

Motorola lists IP68 for the Edge 50 Fusion. For the G67 Power 5G, it describes an IP64 water-resistant design and lists MIL-STD 810H. These are different published ratings and labels, not guarantees that a phone cannot be damaged by water, dust, drops or other conditions. Treat them as specification claims, not as permission to expose either phone to risk.

What is the price difference in India?

A reliable current price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures because a comparable current Edge 50 Fusion selling price was not established. Motorola India’s store listing showed the G67 Power 5G at ₹25,999 against an MRP of ₹30,999 and marked it out of stock when crawled in October 2026. That is a dated, volatile listing snapshot—not a guaranteed offer or an in-stock price. Check the Motorola India store listing and current Edge 50 Fusion listings for the same storage configuration before comparing totals.

Do not subtract an old launch price from that store figure or compare different RAM and storage variants. The Edge 50 Fusion India page lists 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB combinations; the G67 Power store page showed 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. Retail availability and prices can change.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the Edge 50 Fusion if

  • You prefer a pOLED display and the higher listed refresh rate of 144Hz.
  • You value the higher stated charging capability of 68W over the larger battery capacity.
  • The IP68 label on Motorola’s India specification page better matches your priorities.

Choose the moto g67 Power 5G if

  • You want the larger manufacturer-listed battery capacity: 7,000 mAh.
  • You are comfortable with an LCD panel at up to 120Hz rather than the Edge’s pOLED, 144Hz display.
  • The G67 Power’s current price and availability work for your preferred memory and storage configuration.

Neither phone has a demonstrated performance advantage here: Motorola’s India pages list the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor for both, and no comparative benchmark or camera test is established by those specifications.

Check the exact model before buying

Regional naming is a real source of confusion. This comparison is about the India-listed moto g67 Power 5G, whose dedicated product page specifies Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a 7,000 mAh battery and an LCD display. A separate Motorola support page for “moto g67 / g67 power” describes a different configuration, including a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 5,200 mAh battery and AMOLED display. Do not assume those details apply to the India G67 Power 5G.

Motorola’s regional Edge 50 Fusion specifications also differ from its India page, reinforcing the need to match the exact market and product listing. Confirm the full model name and configuration on the seller’s page before ordering.
