On Motorola India’s storefront, the Edge 50 Fusion was listed at ₹20,999 and the Edge 60 Fusion at ₹29,999 when checked on October 4, 2026—a listed gap of ₹9,000. The Edge 60 Fusion’s cited specifications include a higher-resolution display, a 200 mAh larger battery and Android 15; the Edge 50 Fusion lists a higher maximum refresh rate. These prices are a dated India-store snapshot, and the specification pages used here cover different markets, so check the exact local model and price before buying.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion vs. Edge 60 Fusion: specifications
The comparison below uses Motorola’s India specification page for the Edge 50 Fusion and its UK pages for the Edge 60 Fusion. They are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent performance or endurance tests.

How the displays differ
Both cited models have a 6.67-inch pOLED display. The Edge 60 Fusion lists 2712 × 1220 pixels, compared with 2400 × 1080 on the Edge 50 Fusion, so its specification sheet gives it the higher resolution. The Edge 50 Fusion, however, lists a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz against 120 Hz for the UK Edge 60 Fusion. Resolution and refresh rate describe different characteristics; these figures alone do not establish which screen looks better or feels smoother in use.

Processors, software and performance
The India-listed Edge 50 Fusion uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, while the UK-listed Edge 60 Fusion uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400. These are different platforms, but the available specifications do not establish a speed or gaming-performance winner. That would require comparable independent benchmarks or workload testing.
The cited pages list Android 14 for the Edge 50 Fusion and Android 15 for the Edge 60 Fusion. This identifies the starting OS version shown on those pages; it does not establish how long either phone will receive software updates.
Battery capacity and charging
Motorola lists a 5,200 mAh battery for the Edge 60 Fusion and a 5,000 mAh battery for the Edge 50 Fusion. The 200 mAh difference is a capacity comparison, not proof of longer real-world battery life. No matched endurance test is established here.

Both pages specify charging up to 68 W, though the Edge 60 UK specification describes the device as 68 W charging capable and says Motorola TurboPower is required. These wattage claims do not establish comparative charging times. The cited specifications do not confirm whether a charger is included in every market’s retail box; check the box contents for the exact regional model.
Protection claims and regional connectivity
The Edge 50 India page lists IP68. For the Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola’s UK support specification lists IP68, while its UK product page advertises IP69/IP68 and military-standard durability. Treat these as Motorola’s claims, not a promise that either phone is waterproof. Motorola’s product-page caveats say resistance has conditions and limits, may decline with normal wear, and does not cover liquid damage outside those conditions.
The cited India Edge 50 page lists NFC and Bluetooth 5.2. The UK Edge 60 page lists Bluetooth 5.4 and does not list NFC as present. This is not a reliable worldwide distinction: regional variants can differ in connectivity and configuration. Check the local SKU for NFC, SIM options, network bands, RAM and storage before ordering.

Which model makes more sense for you?
Consider the Edge 60 Fusion if
- You value the higher resolution listed on its cited specification page.
- You prefer the newer listed starting OS version, Android 15, while recognizing that it does not establish update duration.
- The slightly larger stated battery capacity matters to your shortlist, but you will still want independent battery-life results for a real endurance comparison.
Consider the Edge 50 Fusion if
- You prioritize its listed 144 Hz maximum refresh rate over the Edge 60 Fusion’s 120 Hz maximum.
- Its lower listed India-store price fits your budget; verify the current price and configuration because the snapshot can change.
For either phone, do not choose solely on processor names, battery capacity, or protection ratings: the cited material does not provide matched evidence for sustained performance, camera output, battery endurance, thermals, repairability or long-term software support.
