If you want to choose among several price tiers, or need microSD expansion on a lower-cost model, compare the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, A27 5G, A37 5G, and A57 5G. Motorola lists 60W wired and 15W wireless charging for the Edge (2026). Comparable charging specifications for all four Galaxy A models are not established in the cited Samsung material, so a direct charging-speed comparison is not available here.

The cited Motorola regional specification lists the Edge with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Samsung lists these Galaxy A configurations:
- A17 5G: 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
- A27 5G: 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
- A37 5G: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, or 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
- A57 5G: 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage.
Samsung says the A17 and A27 support memory cards up to 2TB; the A37 and A57 do not support external memory cards. The listed configurations may vary by market. Confirm the exact storage and RAM variant, as well as card support, before purchase.

What is established about software support?
Samsung’s US Galaxy A series page says the series comes with six years of security and software updates. That is Samsung’s series-page claim; the cited material does not establish a directly comparable exact-model support term for the Motorola Edge (2026). The available information therefore does not support a definitive side-by-side longevity verdict.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the Motorola Edge (2026) if…
- You prefer the smaller 6.3-inch display over the Galaxy A models’ 6.7-inch screens.
