The Moto G96 5G prioritizes a curved 144Hz P-OLED display and a dedicated ultrawide camera; the vivo T5x offers a larger listed battery, faster wired charging and a slightly larger screen. Neither is a clear all-round winner from specifications alone. Prices captured by different sources do not provide a reliable, synchronized checkout comparison, so check the same memory configuration and current stock before deciding.

Specifications above are drawn from the 91mobiles comparison and vivo India’s T5x parameter page. Listings can differ by region or configuration. A higher refresh-rate rating, processor clock, camera resolution or battery capacity does not by itself establish better real-world results.
Which phone has the better display?
Choose the Moto G96 5G if curved P-OLED and the listed 144Hz refresh rate matter most. Choose the vivo T5x if you would rather have the larger listed screen: its 6.76-inch LCD is slightly bigger than the Moto’s 6.67-inch panel, with refresh up to 120Hz. The choice is between panel type and refresh rate on one side and screen size on the other; the listed specifications do not establish which screen looks better in person.
Which phone has the bigger battery and faster charging?
The vivo T5x has the larger listed capacity, at 7,200mAh, compared with 5,500mAh for the Moto G96 5G. Its listed wired charging rate is also higher: 44W versus 33W. Those figures favor vivo on paper, but they do not establish how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use or how quickly it charges under real conditions.

vivo advertises up to 40 hours of video playback, 15.4 hours of gaming, 93 hours of music playback and 14.5 hours of navigation for the T5x. These are manufacturer marketing claims, not independent tests or a head-to-head comparison with the Moto. See vivo India’s T5x overview.
How do the cameras differ?
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera and a 32MP front camera. Their second rear cameras serve different purposes: the Moto has an 8MP ultrawide, while the vivo has a 2MP depth camera. If you want a dedicated ultrawide option in the listed hardware, the Moto is the clearer fit. Megapixel counts alone cannot determine photo quality, and matching front-camera resolution does not mean the two phones take equivalent selfies.

Which processor is faster?
The comparison lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Moto G96 5G, with a maximum listed clock of 2.4GHz, and a Dimensity 7400-Turbo in the vivo T5x, listed up to 2.6GHz. The vivo’s higher clock figure is not enough to call it faster: processor design and device behavior matter, and no directly comparable test of both phones is established here. Treat the chip names and clock speeds as specifications rather than a real-world performance verdict.

What is the price difference in India?
There is no dependable single price difference in the available captured listings because they do not represent a synchronized checkout comparison. Motorola India’s page snippet showed the Moto G96 5G at ₹19,999 against an MRP of ₹22,999 when captured on 2026-10-04; check the Motorola India page for current availability and price.

A 91mobiles comparison page captured ₹20,999 for the Moto G96 5G and ₹27,208 for the vivo T5x on Amazon, while marking the Moto out of stock. These dynamic listing amounts may reflect different moments, offers or stock states; they are not guaranteed checkout quotes and should not be subtracted to claim a current price gap.
- Match RAM and storage for both phones before comparing prices.
- Check that each exact configuration is in stock in your region.
- Compare the final checkout price, including any offers you can actually use.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Moto G96 5G if a curved P-OLED panel, its listed 144Hz refresh rate or a dedicated ultrawide camera is more important to you.
- Consider the vivo T5x if its larger listed battery, higher listed charging rate, slightly larger screen or Android 16 listing better matches your priorities.
- Do not choose based only on processor clock or camera megapixels. The available specifications do not establish a performance or image-quality winner.
- Decide on price only after checking comparable configurations. Captured prices differ by source and stock state, so verify the current checkout amounts.
Software information also differs in what is established: the comparison listing gives Android 15 for the Moto, while vivo’s official parameter page lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6.0 for the T5x. No reliable Motorola update-duration statement is established here, so the listed Android version should not be treated as a promise about future updates. Protection ratings likewise need care: vivo pages use differing IP68/IP69 notation, so consult the official specification for the exact regional model rather than assuming the labels describe identical conditions.
