On paper, the vivo T5x has the larger battery and faster charging: 7200mAh with 44W charging, against 6720mAh and 33W for the Moto G86 Power. The Moto G86 Power lists a P-OLED display and an 8MP ultrawide rear camera. Price is the open question. The listings accessed on 7 October 2026 show figures that are too far apart to support a single price difference, so this comparison treats prices as dated snapshots rather than settled numbers.
Specs side by side
The vivo T5x figures come from vivo’s official India product and parameter pages. The Moto G86 Power figures come from a third-party comparison on 91mobiles and have not been confirmed by Motorola.

The vivo column is taken from vivo’s official India parameter page and the vivo T5x product page. The Moto column is taken from the 91mobiles comparison.
Do not mix in Motorola’s own India support page. It is titled “Specifications – moto g86 5G,” which is a different model. It lists a Dimensity 7300, a 5200mAh battery, 30W charging, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and 8GB/256GB. Those figures do not describe the Moto G86 Power. Motorola also notes that specifications can vary by market, so check the exact model name on the box or in the sale listing. The support page is at Motorola India’s specifications page for the moto g86 5G.

Battery and charging
The T5x’s listed battery is about 7% larger (7200mAh against 6720mAh, a difference of 480mAh). Its charger is rated at 44W, compared with 33W for the Moto G86 Power. vivo says its charging figures apply to its official charger and that actual speed varies with use and environment.
vivo’s product page also gives its own runtime figures: 40 hours of video playback, 15.4 hours of gaming, 93 hours of music playback and 14.5 hours of navigation, plus an AnTuTu score of “1M+.” These are vivo’s claims. The page states test conditions and says actual performance varies. Neither the battery capacity nor vivo’s runtime figures establish how long either phone will last with your own usage pattern.
Display
The two phones use different panel technologies. The T5x uses an LCD at 2344×1080, while the Moto G86 Power is listed as a P-OLED at 1220×2712. Both are listed at up to 120Hz.
Calculated from the listed diagonal and resolution, the T5x has roughly 382 pixels per inch and the Moto G86 Power roughly 444. That is a difference in sharpness on paper, not a measured image-quality result. The specifications do not give brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility, so those cannot be compared here.
Rear cameras
The T5x lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. vivo’s parameter page does not describe what the 2MP unit does. The Moto G86 Power is listed with a 50MP wide camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. If you shoot a lot of landscapes, group photos or tight indoor spaces, the ultrawide lens is the main listed difference. The specifications alone do not show how either phone’s photos will look.
Processor, memory and storage
Both phones use a Dimensity 7400 family chip, so the chip is not what separates them on paper. The memory options are where the buying choice matters. The T5x is sold in three configurations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The comparison lists the Moto G86 Power with 8GB of RAM but does not state its storage. Specification sheets do not predict gaming or sustained performance, and the AnTuTu score on vivo’s page is a vendor figure, not an independent benchmark.
Software and update policy
The T5x ships with Android 16 and OriginOS 6, according to vivo. The Moto G86 Power is listed with Android 15 and one OS upgrade plus three years of security updates. That update policy appears only on the comparison page. Confirm it with Motorola before relying on it, because it affects how long the phone stays current.

Durability and box contents
vivo lists the T5x with IP68 and IP69 ratings. vivo says the water and dust resistance is tested under controlled conditions, is not permanent and does not make the phone a professional waterproof device. The comparison does not state an equivalent rating for the Moto G86 Power.
The T5x box includes a USB cable, a charger, a phone case and an applied protective film, so you do not need to buy a case or charger separately. The box contents for the Moto G86 Power are not stated.

The three prices below were accessed on 7 October 2026. They come from different page types and do not describe the same thing, so they cannot be compared directly.
| Listing | Model and variant | Price shown | Price type |
|---|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles comparison, Amazon placement | Moto G86 Power, variant not stated | ₹17,835 | Not stated |
| 91mobiles comparison, Amazon placement | vivo T5x, variant not stated | ₹27,249 | Not stated |
| vivo India shop search result | vivo T5x 6GB+128GB | ₹45,999 | Not stated |
The gap between the official vivo shop price and the comparison-page price for the T5x is too large to be a stable market difference. The listings may reflect different memory variants, sellers, offers or dates. For that reason, this article does not calculate a definitive price gap.

Check the current T5x listing on vivo’s India shop and the current Moto G86 Power listing on the marketplace you plan to buy from.
Which one fits your priorities
- Choose the vivo T5x if the largest listed battery and faster charging matter most, if you want IP68/IP69 ratings stated on the spec sheet, or if the 8GB+256GB configuration is your target and its price is competitive when you check it.
- Choose the Moto G86 Power if you want a P-OLED panel and an ultrawide rear camera, and if Motorola confirms the Android 15 and update policy listed by the comparison.
- Do not decide on specifications alone. The listed figures do not prove real-world battery life, camera quality or performance, and the price you pay on the day can reverse the choice.
Before you buy
- Confirm the exact model name. The Moto G86 Power is not the moto g86 5G.
- Match the memory and storage configuration on both listings.
- Check the price on the same seller on the same day, and note whether it is MRP or an offer price.
- Confirm the software update policy with Motorola for the specific model.
- Check the warranty and regional model details on the seller’s listing before you pay.
Prices and listing details change often. Review these points on the day of purchase rather than relying on the figures in this article.
