The Moto G86 Power 5G is the stronger fit if you value a higher-resolution display, a larger listed battery and robust dust- and water-protection ratings. Samsung’s Galaxy F70 Pro 5G offers optical image stabilization (OIS) on its main rear camera, faster stated charging and a clearer long-term software-support commitment. The better choice depends on which features matter more—and on the exact regional version and live price.

At a glance: Moto G86 Power vs Galaxy F70 Pro 5G

Which phone has the better display?

On the listed resolution, the Moto G86 Power has the advantage: Motorola specifies 2712 × 1220 pixels on a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. Samsung lists a 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. The Moto therefore has more listed pixels, while Samsung identifies its panel as Super AMOLED. These specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in person.

Battery capacity and charging are different trade-offs

Capacity and manufacturer endurance claims

Motorola lists a 6,720mAh battery and says it can last up to 50 hours. Samsung lists a 6,000mAh typical capacity, with a rated minimum of 5,830mAh, and claims up to 28 hours of video playback. Those are manufacturer claims made under different conditions, not results from a direct comparison, so they do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Charging speed

Samsung lists 45W fast charging, compared with Motorola’s 30W TurboPower. The wattage figures indicate the stated charging ratings; they do not provide a controlled comparison of how long each phone takes to charge.

Camera features: Samsung lists OIS

Samsung specifies a 50MP, 5MP and 2MP rear-camera setup and lists OIS, which helps reduce camera movement. Its India page also lists a 12MP front camera. The available Motorola support page does not give camera resolutions; 91mobiles reports 50MP + 8MP rear cameras and a 32MP front camera, so treat those Moto figures as secondary specifications rather than details confirmed by the cited Motorola page. Megapixel counts alone do not establish comparative photo quality. [Samsung camera specifications] [91mobiles comparison]

Dust and water protection

Motorola lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H for the Moto G86 Power. Samsung names Gorilla Glass Victus for the Galaxy F70 Pro and cautions that water and dust resistance can diminish over time. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee against damage in every situation.

How long Samsung says it will provide updates

Samsung says the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from the first global launch date; the company says this policy is subject to change. The Motorola page cited here lists Android 15 but does not establish an equivalent update duration, so the available specifications support a clearer published commitment from Samsung—not a conclusion about Motorola’s policy beyond that source. Price difference: check the live, matching variants

When 91mobiles was accessed on October 7, 2026, it displayed ₹17,835 for the Moto G86 Power and ₹26,290 for the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G—a displayed gap of ₹8,455. These were volatile third-party Amazon price snapshots, not verified checkout prices or official launch prices. The page did not establish a fully controlled, like-for-like comparison by RAM and storage variant. Check the current seller listing, offers and exact configuration before treating either figure as the price you will pay. [91mobiles comparison and price snapshots]

Samsung’s India product page lists 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options, while the Samsung purchase page captured for this comparison did not provide a stable usable price and showed a not-for-sale state. That means the available figures do not support a definitive current retail price gap. [Samsung India purchase page]

Check the Moto G86 Power’s regional specifications

Motorola’s EMEA support page lists a Dimensity 7300 processor, 8GB physical RAM and 512GB storage, and warns that specifications may vary by market. In contrast, 91mobiles lists a Dimensity 7400 and 128GB storage for the Moto. The available information does not establish whether that difference reflects a regional configuration, a listing error or both. Do not combine the two sets of specifications when comparing phones: confirm the model and configuration sold in your market. [Motorola EMEA specifications] [91mobiles comparison]

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose the Moto G86 Power if the higher listed display resolution, 6,720mAh battery, or IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H ratings are your priorities—and the regional configuration available to you matches what you want.
  • Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if you value OIS in the listed rear-camera setup, a higher stated charging rating, or Samsung’s published update commitment.
  • Compare current local listings before deciding if price is decisive. Match storage and RAM, confirm the seller and offers, and check that the Moto specifications apply to your market.

Neither processor should be called the performance winner on these specifications alone. The available sources do not provide matched independent performance testing, direct camera testing or a comparable real-world battery test.
