The realme P4 5G has the stronger listed battery-and-charging combination and a faster-refreshing screen; the Moto G86 Power 5G is reported to have a sharper, higher-resolution display and a higher-megapixel selfie camera. A reliable current price gap cannot be established from the available listings because prices vary and equivalent storage variants are not confirmed. The comparison below separates realme’s official specifications from secondary-source claims about the Moto G86 Power.
At a glance: Moto G86 Power 5G vs realme P4 5G
| Specification | Moto G86 Power 5G | realme P4 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.7-inch P-OLED, 1220 × 2712, 120Hz; reported by 91mobiles, not confirmed here by a G86 Power-specific Motorola specification page. | 6.77-inch, 1080 × 2392, up to 144Hz; listed by realme India. |
| Processor | Not established by an official G86 Power specification source in the material available. Motorola’s support page for the separate standard moto g86 5G lists a Dimensity 7300; that is not evidence for the Power model. | MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G, listed by realme India. |
| Memory and storage | 8GB RAM and 128GB storage are shown in Motorola India’s category listing; other configurations are not established here. | LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 storage; 128GB and 256GB configurations listed by realme India. |
| Battery and charging | 6,720mAh battery and 33W charging, as reported by 91mobiles; treat as secondary-source figures. | 7,000mAh typical capacity (6,830mAh rated), up to 80W charging and 10W reverse charging, listed by realme India. |
| Rear cameras | 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide, as reported by 91mobiles. | 50MP primary and 8MP wide-angle, listed by realme India. |
| Front camera | 32MP, as reported by 91mobiles. | 16MP, listed by realme India. |
| Software at listing | Update commitments are reported by 91mobiles but were not independently confirmed for this exact India model by the manufacturer sources available here. | Android 15 with realme UI 6.0, listed by realme India. |
The Moto figures in this table are secondary-source claims from 91mobiles’ comparison. Motorola’s retrieved support specification is for the non-Power moto g86 5G, so its specifications should not be substituted for the G86 Power.
Which phone has the better battery and charging?
On the listed numbers, the realme P4 5G leads in both battery capacity and charging wattage: realme India specifies 7,000mAh typical (6,830mAh rated) and up to 80W. The Moto G86 Power is reported by 91mobiles to have 6,720mAh and 33W charging. The realme page also lists 10W reverse charging.

Which screen is sharper and which is smoother?
The reported Moto G86 Power resolution, 1220 × 2712 on a 6.7-inch panel, is higher than the realme P4’s official 1080 × 2392 resolution on a 6.77-inch screen. That gives the Moto the paper advantage in pixel density. However, the G86 Power display details here come from 91mobiles rather than a retrieved Motorola specification sheet for that exact model.
The realme P4 has the higher listed refresh-rate ceiling: up to 144Hz versus the Moto’s reported 120Hz. Refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother, but it does not by itself establish display quality, brightness or real-world performance.
How do the cameras compare?
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultrawide or wide-angle camera. The reported difference is on the front: 91mobiles lists a 32MP selfie camera for the Moto G86 Power, while realme India lists 16MP for the P4. More megapixels alone do not prove better photos; sensor, optics, processing and lighting also matter. No comparable hands-on camera test is established here.
What is the price difference in India?
A definitive same-time price difference for matching RAM and storage variants is not established. Motorola India’s category listing showed the Moto G86 Power 8GB/128GB at ₹17,999, with ₹19,999 MRP, when accessed in 2026. The 91mobiles comparison page showed Amazon price entries of ₹17,835 for the Moto and ₹30,299 for the realme, but those snapshots are not publication-dated in the page extract and do not establish equivalent configurations or a same-time comparison.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What software support is confirmed?
realme India lists Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 for the P4. 91mobiles reports three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the realme P4, compared with one year of OS updates and three years of security updates for the Moto G86 Power. The manufacturer pages available here do not independently confirm those update-duration commitments for these exact India variants, so verify the current policy with each manufacturer before treating the durations as guaranteed.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the realme P4 5G if the official specification priorities are its larger stated battery, higher maximum charging rate, 144Hz refresh-rate ceiling, or the option of 256GB storage.
- Consider the Moto G86 Power 5G if the reported higher display resolution or 32MP front-camera count matters more to you, and you confirm the exact variant and specifications with the seller or Motorola.
- For a fair price decision, compare matching storage capacities and the final current checkout prices rather than subtracting the unsynchronized snapshots above.
realme’s product page also relays a realme Lab AnTuTu score of 778,000+ and a claimed 25% energy-efficiency improvement versus similar products. These are manufacturer-reported lab claims, not independent comparative benchmarks, and they do not establish that the P4 outperforms the Moto G86 Power.
