The Moto G57 Power is the battery-capacity pick; the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G offers a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and a stated six-generation Android upgrade and six-year security-update commitment. For India, Motorola lists its 8GB/128GB model at ₹21,999, while Samsung’s official M47 page says “Not for sale” and gives no current price. That means there is no reliable current price difference to calculate.

What is the current price difference?
Motorola India lists the Moto G57 Power 5G in 8GB/128GB at ₹21,999. Samsung’s official Galaxy M47 page for 6GB/128GB currently displays “Not for sale” and does not publish a live price, so a current price gap cannot be established. Check Samsung’s availability and the price of the exact model with a retailer before comparing checkout totals.

A third-party comparison page showed ₹20,999 for Motorola and ₹35,999 for Samsung when reviewed, but that snapshot conflicts with Motorola’s current official listing and does not confirm Samsung’s live price. It should not be treated as a current price comparison. [91mobiles comparison]
Battery and charging: capacity versus convenience
Motorola lists a 7000mAh typical battery for the India Moto G57 Power, compared with Samsung’s 6000mAh typical figure for the Galaxy M47. These are capacity specifications, not proof of a particular runtime: screen use, signal conditions, software and other factors affect how long a phone lasts. Motorola’s announcement separately gives a rated capacity of 6790mAh; that is not the same figure as its typical capacity. Samsung likewise notes a rated minimum of 5,882mAh.

Samsung advertises faster 45W charging, but says the charger is sold separately. Motorola’s India support specification lists 33W charging. Confirm what is included with the specific retail package, and do not assume regional variants share the same charging specification. Display: larger LCD or Super AMOLED?
The Moto G57 Power has the slightly larger listed panel at 6.72 inches, with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1050 nits in High Brightness Mode. The Galaxy M47 is listed with a 6.66-inch-class FHD+ Super AMOLED display and the same 120Hz refresh rate. The key difference is panel type: the Motorola uses LCD, while Samsung uses AMOLED. Choose based on your preference for display characteristics rather than assuming refresh rate alone makes them equivalent.

Cameras: different strengths on paper
Motorola lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera, plus an 8MP front camera. Samsung lists three rear cameras—50MP, 5MP and 2MP—with OIS noted for the rear camera, as well as a 12MP selfie camera. These configurations do not establish which phone takes better photos; no comparative camera testing is available here. If selfies or stabilization matter most, note Samsung’s listed 12MP front camera and OIS, but assess real-world image quality independently.
Software support and long-term ownership
Samsung states that the Galaxy M47 will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch. Samsung notes that its policy may change. Motorola’s reviewed India sources list Android 16 but do not establish a comparable support duration, so there is no verified basis here for matching the two update commitments.

- Display Type: LCD; Operating System: Android 13.0
Durability, size and everyday features
Motorola specifies IP64, MIL-STD 810H and Gorilla Glass 7i for the Moto G57 Power. Samsung names Gorilla Glass Victus+ and describes water and dust resistance along with 2.0m fall endurance. Those manufacturer claims use different descriptions, and they do not by themselves make the devices directly comparable under identical conditions.
The Samsung is listed at 206g, compared with 210.6g for the Motorola. Motorola also lists stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headset jack; Samsung lists USB-C audio and does not list stereo support. These practical differences may matter if you use wired headphones or value stereo playback.

- Consider the Galaxy M47 if you prefer a Super AMOLED screen, want the listed 12MP selfie camera and OIS, or value Samsung’s stated software-update commitment. Verify that it is on sale and check its current price before deciding.
- Compare exact boxes and variants before buying: Motorola’s regional configurations differ, and Samsung says its 45W charger is sold separately.
These recommendations are based on listed specifications and manufacturer statements, not hands-on battery, camera, performance or durability tests.
