The Moto G57 Power and Moto G77 Power 5G share several headline specs, including a 7,000mAh battery, a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera. Their clearest listed differences are the chipset, selfie-camera resolution, charging specification and microSD support. A dated India price comparison showed the G77 at a ₹4,250 premium, but current prices and configurations need checking before you buy.
Moto G57 Power vs G77 Power 5G: specifications
The figures below come from Motorola’s India support listings, except for the price snapshots, which are from a third-party comparison page. Motorola cautions that specifications can vary by market, so check the specific regional model and configuration you intend to purchase.

What differs in everyday buying terms?
Chipset: different platforms, no proven speed winner
The G57 Power lists a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, while the G77 Power 5G lists a Dimensity 6400. Those names and manufacturing-process figures do not establish which phone is faster in real use. The available specifications do not provide comparable benchmark results, so look for independent testing of the exact models if gaming, demanding apps or sustained performance is decisive.

Selfies: higher resolution on the G77
The G77’s front camera is listed at 32MP, compared with 8MP on the G57. That is a difference in nominal resolution, not proof of better-looking photos: image processing, lighting and camera software also matter. Both phones list the same main rear-camera sensor and an 8MP ultrawide, but matching headline hardware does not prove identical image output.
Battery and charging: capacity is similar
Both India specification sheets list a 7,000mAh battery. The G57 lists 33W charging; the G77 lists 30W wired charging and 6W reverse charging. These rated figures do not establish actual battery life or charging time. The G77 listing distinguishes typical capacity (7,000mAh) from rated capacity (6,790mAh).

Storage expansion: listed for the G77
The G77 India listing specifies microSD expansion up to 1TB; the G57 listing in this comparison gives 128GB built-in storage without a corresponding expansion figure. Confirm support and the exact configuration on the seller’s regional product page before relying on expandable storage.

What was the price difference?
A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹20,740 for the Moto G57 Power and ₹24,990 for the Moto G77 Power 5G, a displayed difference of ₹4,250. These are dated third-party price snapshots, not guaranteed current prices. The official Motorola India catalogue separately showed a G77 listing at ₹22,249 against an MRP of ₹41,999, illustrating why a comparison should use live offers rather than assume one fixed price.

Before deciding, compare the same market and RAM/storage configuration, and check stock, taxes, discounts and retailer terms. The third-party figures are not evidence that either phone currently sells at those prices. See the 91mobiles comparison price snapshot and Motorola India’s G77 catalogue listing.
For a separate regional reference, Motorola News said the G57 Power was available in Europe at a recommended price of €279. That is a Europe-specific recommended price, not an India price or a promise of the current price in every European market. Motorola News: G57 Power availability in Europe.

Regional versions can have different features
The UK G57 Power listing includes NFC and one Nano SIM plus eSIM. The India listing says NFC is absent and specifies dual Nano SIM. Do not assume that a phone’s name guarantees the same connectivity or SIM arrangement worldwide. Motorola’s India support pages also warn that certain specifications may vary by market.
Confirm the exact model or SKU, mobile-network bands, SIM arrangement, NFC, included charger and warranty coverage for your country before ordering. The regional G57 specification comparison documents the UK and India differences.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the G57 Power if
- Its current local price is lower than the G77’s for an equivalent configuration.
- You prefer the listed Snapdragon platform or the 33W charging specification.
- You do not need the G77 listing’s higher-resolution selfie camera or stated microSD expansion.
Choose the G77 Power 5G if
- You value its listed 32MP front camera.
- You want the microSD expansion capability specified on its India listing, up to 1TB.
- The final price difference is acceptable for the features that matter to you.
Neither specification sheet establishes a universal winner for speed, camera quality or battery endurance. Check current same-market prices and independent tests of the exact regional models if those outcomes will drive your decision.
