Choose the Moto for listed battery capacity and RAM
The Moto’s stated 7,000 mAh capacity is greater than Lava’s listed 6,000 mAh, and its listed 8 GB RAM exceeds Lava’s 6 GB. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use: actual endurance depends on factors such as workload, settings and network conditions, and the available listings do not provide a comparable controlled test.

Choose Lava if you prefer curved AMOLED
The listed panels differ in both technology and size: Moto has a 6.72-inch LCD, while Lava is listed with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED. If OLED contrast or curved styling matters to you, Lava’s listed display may suit your preference. This is a comparison of panel specifications, not a measured brightness or image-quality verdict.
Compare charging and camera configurations, not just headline numbers
Lava is listed with 45 W wired charging versus Motorola’s official 33 W TurboPower specification. The wattage figures do not establish charging time under the same conditions. For cameras, the comparison listings give Moto an additional 8 MP ultrawide rear camera, while Lava’s listed front camera is 13 MP against Moto’s 8 MP. Megapixel counts and camera presence do not by themselves show which phone takes better photos.

Check the Moto storage variant before purchase
Storage listings conflict. Motorola’s support page states 128 GB, as do the 91mobiles and Gadgets Now comparison pages; Gadgets360 lists 256 GB. The available specifications do not resolve whether the 256 GB entry reflects a different variant or a listing error. Confirm the storage printed on the specific retailer offer and product variant you intend to buy.
How to read the dates and listings
Comparison sites disagree on launch dates for both phones: Moto entries range from November 5 or 24 to December 3, 2025, while Lava entries show September 21 or 28, 2026. No official launch announcement was available among the cited sources to settle those differences, so the dates are not a reliable basis for choosing between them. Prices and configurations here refer to India-facing listings and should not be assumed to apply in other markets.
