The Moto G45 5G is the better fit if you want a 120Hz display, stereo speakers, a headphone jack, expandable storage or a higher-resolution selfie camera. The Samsung Galaxy F07 has the larger screen and a clearer long-term software commitment: Samsung advertises six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Both have HD+ displays and 5,000mAh batteries, so the right choice depends on the features and exact variant you value—not a universal winner.

Moto G45 5G vs Galaxy F07 at a glance

Specification Moto G45 5G Samsung Galaxy F07
Display 6.5-inch HD+ LCD, 120Hz 17.13cm (about 6.7-inch) HD+ PLS LCD, 90Hz
Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 MediaTek Helio G99

Front camera 16MP 8MP
Battery 5,000mAh 5,000mAh
Published charging rate Motorola sources conflict: 18W on its specification page and 20W TurboPower in its launch announcement 25W listed in the comparison
Software support information Launched on Android 14; Android 15 rollout began March 11, 2025. The cited official support page does not state a total support term. Samsung advertises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

Specifications are not a substitute for comparable testing: chipset names or peak clock figures alone do not establish which phone feels faster, and camera megapixels do not prove which takes better photos. The comparison page lists the Samsung 4GB/64GB version; check that the retailer’s actual SKU matches before comparing prices.

Which phone has the better display?

The Galaxy F07’s panel is physically larger at about 6.7 inches, compared with the Moto G45 5G’s 6.5 inches. The Moto counters with a 120Hz refresh rate, versus 90Hz on the Samsung. A higher refresh rate can make scrolling and supported animations appear smoother, while the F07 gives you more screen area. Both are HD+, not Full HD, so neither is the choice here for a higher-resolution panel.

Performance, RAM and storage

The Moto is specified with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and either 4GB or 8GB RAM paired with 128GB storage. Motorola lists microSD expansion up to 1TB. The comparison lists the F07 with a MediaTek Helio G99, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Moto therefore offers more built-in storage in the listed configurations and a documented expansion option. Confirm the exact F07 variant and whether a memory card matters to you before deciding that a price difference represents equal value.

There is no directly comparable performance test in the cited material. Do not treat a processor’s advertised clock speed, or Motorola’s launch-release AnTuTu claim, as proof that one phone performs better in everyday use.

Cameras: higher selfie resolution on the Moto

Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary camera, but the secondary camera roles differ: macro on the Moto and depth on the F07. The Moto’s front camera is 16MP, compared with 8MP on the Samsung. These figures describe resolution and camera configuration, not image quality; the available comparison does not establish which phone produces better photos.

Battery and charging differences

Each phone is listed with a 5,000mAh battery. The published charging details need more care: Motorola’s support specification page says 18W, while its India launch announcement says 20W TurboPower; a third-party comparison also lists 20W. Because those Motorola figures conflict, check the specification for your region and the package contents before purchase. The comparison lists the Galaxy F07 at 25W.

Software and update commitments

Samsung’s India product page advertises six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. This is Samsung’s stated product commitment, not an independent assessment. Motorola launched the G45 5G with Android 14, and Motorola Support says its Android 15 rollout began on March 11, 2025. The cited Motorola support page confirms security updates are scheduled to continue but does not give a total duration, so the two support descriptions are not equally specific.

Features beyond the core specs

  • Moto G45 5G: Motorola lists stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP52 protection, hybrid dual SIM and microSD support.
  • Galaxy F07: Samsung highlights One UI 7, Quick Share and Smart Switch.

If wired headphones, stereo audio or expandable storage are important, the Moto has clearly listed hardware conveniences to consider. If Samsung’s software tools or its stated update horizon matter more, those may weigh in the F07’s favor.

Price difference and availability in India

Motorola’s August 21, 2024 India announcement set launch prices of ₹10,999 for the 4GB+128GB Moto G45 5G and ₹12,999 for the 8GB+128GB model, with sales scheduled to begin August 28, 2024. The announcement also described a ₹1,000 reduction for eligible card or exchange buyers as a launch offer. These are historical launch figures, not current prices.

Motorola Moto G 2025, 128GB + 4GB RAM, Forest Gray - Unlocked (Renewed)
  • Fluid 120Hz Display: Features a large 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for smooth scrolling and added durability.

When the 91mobiles comparison page was accessed in 2026, it displayed ₹11,998 for the Galaxy F07 on Amazon India and marked the Moto G45 5G unavailable in its store comparison. That is a dated marketplace observation, not a guaranteed live price or proof that no seller has Moto stock. Check current price, seller, availability and exact memory configuration before buying; do not compare a 4GB/64GB F07 directly with a 4GB/128GB or 8GB/128GB Moto without accounting for the storage difference.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the Moto G45 5G if

  • You prefer a 120Hz display over a larger 90Hz panel.
  • You want the listed 16MP selfie camera, stereo speakers or a 3.5mm headphone jack.
  • You need microSD expansion or want 128GB built-in storage in the listed configurations.

Choose the Samsung Galaxy F07 if

  • You want the larger display.
  • A published commitment of six OS upgrade generations and six years of security updates is a priority.
  • The Samsung features and the exact F07 variant available to you offer better value at the live price.

For either phone, compare the same kind of purchase: exact RAM and storage, current seller price, stock, regional charging specification and the support period that matters to you. Those details can change the value calculation more than the model names alone.
