Where the G57 Power is better on paper
Larger, higher-resolution display
Both phones list 120Hz refresh rates, but the G57 Power has a 6.72-inch FHD+ panel while the G45 has a 6.5-inch HD+ panel. The G57 Power therefore has more pixels and a larger screen on its published specifications. Its page also lists up to 1050 nits in high-brightness mode; that figure describes the stated mode, not a measured comparison with the G45.
More battery capacity and faster listed charging
The G57 Power lists a 7,000mAh battery and 33W TurboPower charging, versus 5,000mAh and 18W charging for the G45. Motorola advertises up to 60 hours of battery life for the G57 Power; this is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independent comparative test. The G45 support listing provides no matching runtime figure. Capacity alone cannot establish how many days either phone will last, since actual use depends on network, settings, apps and usage.

An additional rear camera and higher stated protection
Motorola lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide on the G57 Power, as well as a light/flicker sensor. The G45’s official summary in the retrieved specifications confirms a 50MP main camera but does not give the full rear-camera setup. The G57 Power also lists IP64 water resistance, MIL-STD 810H and Gorilla Glass 7i, compared with IP52 for the G45. These are the manufacturers’ stated ratings and materials, not a guarantee against every kind of damage.

Where the G45 may suit you better
Lower observed listing price and lighter body
The G45 was ₹9,000 less on the observed Motorola India listings. It is also around 183g, versus 210.6g for the G57 Power. If you prefer a lighter, smaller phone, or the G57 Power’s screen and battery are not priorities, those are practical reasons to consider the G45.

Expandable storage
The G45’s official listing supports microSD cards up to 1TB in a hybrid dual-SIM tray. Motorola’s G57 Power listing gives no memory-card support. The hybrid tray means the G45’s SIM and memory-card arrangement matters if you use two SIMs; check the configuration you intend to use.
Which should you choose?
- Choose the Moto G57 Power if you value a larger FHD+ screen, higher listed battery capacity, faster charging, an ultrawide rear camera and the listed protection features enough to justify its higher observed price and heavier body.
- Choose the Moto G45 if you want the lower observed listing price, a lighter handset or microSD expansion, and can accept its HD+ screen and smaller battery.
This is a specification-led recommendation, not a verdict on real-world speed, camera quality or battery endurance. The support pages list Android 14 for the G45 and Android 16 for the G57 Power, but they do not establish update duration, cadence or regional rollout schedules. Motorola also notes that specifications may vary by market, so confirm the exact India SKU and live seller listing before purchase.

Launch timing and availability
91mobiles reports launch dates of August 28, 2024 for the G45 and November 24, 2025 for the G57 Power. These are that publisher’s reported dates; they were not confirmed here against official launch announcements for both phones. Motorola India’s observed catalog listed the G57 Power in an 8GB/128GB configuration and the G45 in 128GB configurations with more than one RAM option. Retailer stock and availability can change.
