The Infinix Hot 50 5G has the larger display, while the Moto G45 5G lists higher-resolution cameras and a specific Android-upgrade and security-update commitment in Motorola’s launch announcement. Both offer 5G, 120Hz HD+ LCD screens, 5,000mAh batteries, and 128GB storage options. Which is the better buy depends on the same-RAM price available to you and which differences matter most.

Price difference in India
There is no dependable fixed price gap: online prices can change with retailer, stock, memory configuration, and offers. The available price references are snapshots, not guaranteed current prices.
| Phone and configuration | Price reference | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Moto G45 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹10,999 launch price; ₹9,999 with the stated launch offer | Motorola’s August 21, 2024 announcement; the offer was a launch promotion, not a current price. |
| Moto G45 5G, 8GB/128GB | ₹12,999 launch price; ₹11,999 with the stated launch offer | Motorola’s August 21, 2024 announcement; the offer was a launch promotion, not a current price. |
| Moto G45 5G | ₹10,997 shown at Amazon | 91mobiles comparison-page snapshot; seller stock and current price were not established. |
| Infinix Hot 50 5G, 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB options | ₹9,999 sale price against ₹12,999 regular price | Price displayed on Infinix India’s product page; verify the selected variant and offer at checkout. |
| Infinix Hot 50 5G | Starting at ₹9,999 | Gadgets 360 listing dated September 11, 2026; this is a dated listing, not a guaranteed current price. |
To judge the real price difference, compare 4GB/128GB with 4GB/128GB or 8GB/128GB with 8GB/128GB, then check the final seller price and availability on the day you order. An older comparison snapshot marking the Infinix unavailable does not establish its current stock status.

Display: Infinix gives you more screen area
The Hot 50 5G’s 6.7-inch screen is larger than the Moto G45 5G’s 6.5-inch screen. Both are listed as 1600 × 720 IPS LCD panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Infinix is the more obvious choice if screen size is your priority; it does not offer a higher listed resolution, so the extra size comes with the same pixel count.
Performance: different chips, no guaranteed winner
The Moto uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and the Infinix uses the Dimensity 6300. Those names alone do not establish which phone will feel smoother in everyday use. Independent benchmark results, where available, describe a particular test and setup; they are not a guarantee of performance across apps, software versions, or the 4GB and 8GB variants.
Rank #2

For a phone you expect to keep responsive, match the RAM configuration as well as the price. Do not assume an 8GB model is the same comparison as a 4GB model, and do not treat chipset labels as a substitute for a direct test of the tasks you care about.

Cameras: stronger listed resolutions on the Moto
On paper, the Moto G45 5G has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front camera. The Hot 50 5G lists a 48MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. That makes the Moto’s listed camera resolutions higher, especially for selfies, but megapixels do not determine image quality by themselves. No controlled comparison establishing which phone takes better photos was verified.

Battery, charging, and durability
Both phones have a listed 5,000mAh battery. Charging information for the Moto is inconsistent across Motorola sources: its support page lists 18W, while its India launch announcement advertises 20W TurboPower. Confirm the exact India SKU and the charger included in the box before relying on either figure. The Infinix’s 18W charging figure comes from a third-party listing, rather than a readable official technical specification in its India storefront.
Motorola’s support page lists an IP52 rating for the Moto; 91mobiles lists IP54 for the Infinix. The Infinix rating was not verified against a readable official specification source. Neither rating should be taken as a waterproof guarantee.
Rank #4
- Fluid 120Hz Display: Features a large 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for smooth scrolling and added durability.
Software support: distinguish a launch promise from current status
Both models launched with Android 14. Motorola’s August 2024 announcement promised the Moto G45 5G an upgrade to Android 15 and three years of security updates. A third-party listing reports two years of security updates for the Hot 50 5G. These statements do not establish each phone’s current delivered update status. Check the manufacturers’ latest support information for the specific device before deciding how long you expect to use it.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesInfinix’s storefront uses the phrase “5+ Years of Smoothness.” That is marketing language, not a stated software-update guarantee.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Infinix Hot 50 5G if you want the larger 6.7-inch display and its live price is lower than the Moto’s for the same RAM and storage configuration.
- Consider the Moto G45 5G if its higher listed camera resolutions or Motorola’s announced software-support commitment better fit your priorities, and the current price works for you.
- Compare carefully if smooth performance is your main concern. The available chipset names do not prove a real-world speed advantage, and configuration and software condition matter.
Before checkout, confirm the RAM tier, exact regional model, seller, current price, and stock. For the Moto, also verify charging details and the in-box adapter; for either phone, consult current manufacturer support information if update longevity is important.
