The Moto G37 Power 5G is the battery-capacity pick on published specifications, while the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G lists a sharper, faster-refreshing display and an ultrawide rear camera. The Moto also appeared cheaper in two 2026 comparison-page price snapshots. Which is the better buy depends on whether you value battery capacity, screen detail, camera flexibility, or the current price of a like-for-like memory variant.

Moto specifications come from Motorola Support India. Ai+ specifications and the cross-brand details above are reported by 91mobiles; they should be treated as third-party listings rather than manufacturer-confirmed details.

How their screens compare

The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro has the stronger published display specification: its listed 6.9-inch, 1080 × 2340 panel has both more resolution and a higher refresh rate than the Moto’s 6.67-inch-class, 1604 × 720, 120 Hz screen. That combination gives the Ai+ more screen area and a finer stated pixel grid. The Moto’s Motorola-listed peak figure is up to 1,050 nits in HBM; the comparison information does not provide a corresponding Ai+ brightness figure, so a brightness winner cannot be established from these specifications.

Battery capacity and charging

The Moto has the larger listed battery: Motorola specifies 7,000 mAh typical capacity and 6,790 mAh rated capacity, versus the 6,000 mAh reported for the Ai+. Motorola also estimates “Up to 62 hours” of battery life. That is the manufacturer’s estimate, not an independent test or a direct comparison with the Ai+; capacity figures alone do not establish how long either phone will last in a particular person’s use.

Charging figures do not all favor the same phone. Motorola lists 30 W wired charging and 6 W wired reverse charging for the Moto, while 91mobiles reports 33 W charging for the Ai+. Those wattage listings do not establish actual charging times, which can depend on conditions and charger compatibility.

Camera setup: one main camera or an ultrawide option?

Motorola documents a 50 MP f/1.8 main rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera for the Moto. 91mobiles lists a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 13 MP selfie camera for the Ai+. On the listed configurations, the Ai+ offers an additional ultrawide field of view, while its front camera has the higher stated resolution. Megapixel counts and camera count do not establish image quality; there is no hands-on comparison here.

Processors, memory and software support

The listed chipsets are MediaTek Dimensity 6400 for the Moto and Dimensity 7100 for the Ai+. The reported CPU clock figures are 2.5 GHz and up to 2.4 GHz respectively, but clock speed by itself is not a fair way to rank performance. No comparable, independently verified test of these two phones is available in the cited comparison information.

Memory configurations also need care when comparing value. Motorola lists the Moto with 4 GB or 8 GB LPDDR4X and 128 GB storage, plus microSD support up to 1 TB; 91mobiles lists the Ai+ with 6 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Compare the price of the same RAM tier where possible, rather than assuming the lowest listed prices refer to equivalent variants.

Both phones are listed with Android 16. The OS-upgrade and security-update durations—one year of OS upgrades for each, three years of security updates for Moto and two for Ai+—are reported by 91mobiles, not confirmed here by manufacturer support pages. Verify those commitments with the manufacturers if long-term updates are a deciding factor.

Price difference in the available snapshots

Prices are seller- and date-dependent comparison-page listings, not official list prices or guaranteed live offers. The two accessed pages put the Moto about ₹2,200–₹2,400 below the Ai+, but they show slightly different Moto prices:

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the Moto G37 Power if battery capacity and expansion matter most

  • You want the larger published battery capacity and value Motorola’s own battery-life estimate, understanding it is not a comparative test.
  • You want microSD expansion, which Motorola lists up to 1 TB.
  • The exact Moto variant you want is meaningfully less expensive than the equivalent Ai+ configuration at checkout.

Choose the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro if display specifications and camera flexibility matter most

  • You prefer the listed 6.9-inch Full HD+ 144 Hz display over the Moto’s HD+ 120 Hz panel.
  • You want an ultrawide rear-camera option in the listed camera setup.
  • The higher reported selfie-camera resolution is useful to you, while recognizing it does not by itself predict results.

Check before buying either phone

  • Confirm the current seller price, RAM/storage variant, and included offer rather than relying on a comparison-page snapshot.
  • Verify Ai+ specifications and both brands’ update commitments with the manufacturers; the Ai+ details and support durations cited here are third-party reports.

The Moto G37 Power was reported launched on May 19, 2026, and the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro on June 22, 2026, by 91mobiles. Motorola notes that specifications may vary by market, so check the India-market variant you intend to buy.
