The difference is ₹82,500, calculated from those two manufacturer-store prices as displayed on October 5, 2026 (Motorola India; vivo India Store).
This is not a universal or like-for-like price gap: the phones have different memory configurations, and prices can vary with country, retailer, promotions and time. vivo’s Philippines product page, for example, lists a local official selling price of ₱54,999; that price is not directly comparable with India’s rupee listings (vivo Philippines). Check the exact local SKU and current seller price before deciding.

Display and size: larger LCD or smaller AMOLED
The cited Motorola UK specification gives the Moto G35 a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10. The vivo India Store lists the X300 FE with a smaller 6.31-inch AMOLED display. That makes the Moto the larger-screen choice on these specifications, while the vivo is the more compact option and uses a different display technology. The published specifications do not establish which screen looks better in real-world use.
Performance, RAM and storage
Motorola India lists the Moto G35 with a UNISOC T760 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, with microSD expansion up to 1TB. vivo India lists the X300 FE with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and configurations ranging from 8GB/256GB to 12GB/512GB; the store says ROM expansion is not available. These specifications place the models in different hardware tiers, but they are not benchmark results and do not quantify a speed difference.

For buyers who keep many apps open or store large amounts of media, the X300 FE’s listed RAM and storage options offer more built-in capacity. The Moto’s cited India configuration has less internal storage but supports a memory card up to the manufacturer’s stated limit. Confirm that the version sold locally includes the stated card expansion and the RAM/storage combination you want.

The vivo India Store specifies three rear cameras on the X300 FE: a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP OIS telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The dedicated telephoto lens is a clear hardware distinction for buyers who want that camera type. The cited Motorola India listing does not provide a matching rear-camera specification for the Moto G35, so a complete camera-spec comparison is not established here. Camera hardware alone also cannot establish image quality; there is no controlled comparison behind these figures.

Battery and charging
Motorola UK lists a 5000mAh battery and 18W charging for the Moto G35. vivo India lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 90W wired FlashCharge for the X300 FE. vivo notes that maximum charging requires the original charger and cable and can vary with use. These are manufacturer specifications, not comparative tests of battery life or charging time.
Durability and software terms
vivo India specifies IP68/IP69 ingress protection for the X300 FE. Motorola’s cited UK specification lists Gorilla Glass 3 for the Moto G35 display, but does not establish an IP rating in the cited material; do not assume one from that omission or from specifications for another market.

The cited Motorola UK page lists Android 14, while vivo India lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6. Update commitments can depend on market: vivo’s Philippines product page advertises five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security maintenance, but that regional promise should not be assumed to apply everywhere (vivo Philippines). Check the support terms published for the exact country and model you plan to buy.

Choose the Moto G35 if budget and screen size matter most
- You want a lower-cost 5G phone and the locally available price fits your budget.
- You prefer the larger 6.72-inch display listed on Motorola’s UK specification page.
- You value the option of microSD expansion and do not need the higher memory and storage configurations listed for the vivo.
Choose the vivo X300 FE if you want the more premium listed hardware
- You are comfortable with its much higher local price.
- You prefer a smaller 6.31-inch AMOLED display and the listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform.
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera, a higher stated battery capacity and faster wired charging, or the IP68/IP69 rating specified for India.
These are specification-based trade-offs, not conclusions from hands-on testing. Compare current prices for the exact variants in your market before treating either phone as the better value.
