The Moto G37 Power 5G is the stronger choice if you need 5G or faster wired charging; the Moto G06 Power has the larger screen in the cited regional specifications. Both list a 7,000 mAh battery, HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The specifications come from Motorola’s US page for the G06 Power and India page for the G37 Power, so they do not guarantee that every market’s version is identical.

Does the Moto G06 Power support 5G?
5G is listed for the Moto G37 Power in Motorola’s India specification, which specifies sub-6 GHz service. Motorola’s cited US specification for the Moto G06 Power lists LTE bands and does not list 5G. On that evidence, the G37 is the one to consider if 5G is essential. Confirm the exact regional model and its supported bands against your carrier before buying; the cited pages do not establish that every variant sold worldwide has these same network capabilities.

The cited G06 specification names a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme, while the G37 India specification names a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 manufactured on a 6 nm process. These are different chipset families, but the available specifications do not provide comparable benchmark results. The model names alone are not a basis for promising a particular real-world speed advantage.

Battery and charging: same capacity, different charging rates
Both Motorola specifications state a 7,000 mAh battery. The G06 figure is identified as typical capacity; the G37 listing also gives a rated capacity of 6,790 mAh. Capacity figures do not establish equal battery life: no directly comparable endurance test is provided here.
Motorola lists 18 W device charging capability for the G06 and 30 W wired charging for the G37. The G37 India specification also lists 6 W wired reverse charging. These stated charging rates favor the G37 on paper, but do not establish how long either phone takes to charge.

Both are HD+ panels with a 120 Hz refresh rate, but their stated resolutions differ: 1640 × 720 on the G06 and 1604 × 720 on the G37. Neither cited specification describes a Full HD display.

The cited US G06 configuration has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built-in storage. Motorola’s India G37 listing offers 4 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Both pages list microSD expansion up to 1 TB. Retailer configurations and regional availability can vary, so compare the exact RAM and storage combination rather than relying on a model name alone.

The cited G06 specification lists a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. The cited India G37 specification does not establish its full camera configuration, so the available information is not enough for a like-for-like camera comparison.
The same regional specifications list Android 15 for the G06 and Android 16 for the G37. An operating-system version by itself does not establish how long a phone will receive security or major Android updates.

What is the price difference?
The available prices are not a valid direct comparison because they refer to different countries, currencies, dates and pricing bases. Motorola India’s smartphone listing showed the G37 Power at ₹19,999, with an MRP of ₹26,499, when accessed in 2026; prices can change. TechRadar’s review published on 15 January 2026 reported that the G06 Power typically sold for £89 in the UK and had occasionally been seen below £80. That is a dated UK report, not a current universal price. See Motorola India’s smartphone listing and TechRadar’s G06 Power review.
To work out the difference where you shop, compare current listings in the same country for matching RAM and storage variants, and check whether each amount is a regular selling price, promotion or list price. Converting the cited rupee and pound figures would not make them comparable.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the G37 Power 5G if: 5G is a priority, you want the higher listed wired charging rate, or the 128 GB configuration suits your needs. Verify local network-band support and the exact version first.
- Consider the G06 Power if: you prefer its larger stated screen diagonal or find it at a better local price. The cited US specification lists LTE rather than 5G, so it is not the choice on this evidence if 5G is required.
- For battery life: do not decide from the shared 7,000 mAh nominal figure alone. The cited specifications do not provide a directly comparable battery-life test.
