The Moto G Stylus (2026) is a real phone, and Motorola said it would be sold unlocked through Amazon in the U.S. But the available evidence does not verify a $399.99 Prime Day price or establish that it is the phone’s first Amazon price drop. Motorola announced a $499.99 U.S. launch MSRP; check the live Amazon listing and checkout price before treating $399.99 as a current deal.
What is confirmed about the Moto G Stylus 2026 price?
Motorola’s April 1, 2026 launch announcement set the U.S. MSRP at $499.99 and said the unlocked phone would be available at Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, and Motorola.com beginning April 16, 2026. How to check whether an Amazon offer is really $399.99
- Open the Amazon listing and confirm it is the Moto G Stylus (2026), not a different model or year.
- Check the exact configuration, seller, and whether the phone is new and unlocked.
- Confirm the price shown at checkout. A product-page price alone may not reflect the final amount or current availability.
- To assess the claim that it is the first Amazon price drop, compare the same configuration’s price history. The $499.99 MSRP is a launch reference, not evidence of Amazon’s past or present selling price.
Without a verified listing and a reliable history for the same configuration, neither the $399.99 offer nor the word “first” can be confirmed.

What the Moto G Stylus (2026) offers
The built-in active stylus is the phone’s defining feature. Motorola says it supports tilt and pressure in compatible apps, and highlights tools including Sketch to Image and Handwriting Calculator. Motorola lists a 6.7-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, Android 16, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Who should consider it?
- Consider it if: you want an integrated stylus for notes, annotations, or supported creative apps, alongside a large high-refresh-rate display and wireless charging.
- Check before buying: confirm the exact Amazon configuration, seller, final checkout price, and any stylus-app functions you rely on.
