Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is scheduled to arrive on Xbox on PC on November 18, 2026, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. The game is already out on Xbox Series X|S, where the Xbox Store lists a release date of March 13, 2026. The PC date is a later platform milestone, not the game’s launch.
When the PC version arrives
Xbox Wire announced on October 7, 2026 that the game is heading to Xbox on PC on November 18, 2026. The post was written by Toshiaki Matsuda of Capcom’s PR Team. Xbox Play Anywhere support is part of the same announcement, so the Xbox version and the PC version are linked for players who own both.
Release dates by platform
The game’s timeline has more than one date, and they describe different things. The table below separates them.

Capcom’s August 1, 2025 announcement, titled “Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection to Launch in 2026!”, listed Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. That list reflects what was planned at the time. The October 2026 Xbox Wire post is the more recent statement about the Xbox-on-PC release.

What Xbox Play Anywhere covers
According to Xbox Wire, Xbox Play Anywhere support lets players use the game across Xbox Series X|S, Windows 11 PCs and compatible handheld devices at no additional cost. Three things carry between supported devices:
- Save data
- Additional game content
- Achievements
This makes Xbox Play Anywhere the practical reason to care about the PC date if you already play on Xbox. The announcement does not describe how the feature handles a device that is not on the supported list, so check the Xbox Store listing before assuming a device will work.

The free trial
Xbox Wire says a free trial is available on Xbox Series X|S and that progress made in the trial carries over to the full game. That statement covers Xbox Series X|S. The sources do not confirm a PC trial, so do not assume the same arrangement applies on Windows until Xbox publishes it.

Capcom describes Twisted Reflection as an RPG and the third game and official sequel in the Monster Hunter Stories series. In the series, players become Monster Riders who bond with, raise and live alongside monsters. Xbox Wire describes this installment as a turn-based RPG.

The story follows the prince or princess of Azuria and Eleanor, princess of Vermeil, as they set out for forbidden ground, each driven by their own hopes and convictions. Matsuda’s description in the October 2026 post reads: “Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is a turn-based RPG set in the world of Monster Hunter, allowing players to enjoy an adventure on a larger scale than ever before.”
Editions and what the store shows
The US Xbox Store listing names Capcom as both publisher and developer. It displays Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming as supported options. It also lists standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe editions, along with paid downloadable content. These are digital storefront options.
The official listings do not say what each edition includes beyond its name, and they do not compare the value of the editions. Prices and add-ons can change, so check the live listing before buying. The sources do not confirm a physical PC edition.

Franchise context
Capcom reported that cumulative sales for the entire Monster Hunter series exceeded 122 million units as of June 30, 2025. That figure covers the whole franchise, not Monster Hunter Stories or this game specifically, and it is not a sales figure for this title.
What is not confirmed
- A physical PC edition
- Release dates for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5
- Whether the PC version is sold through storefronts other than the Xbox app and Xbox Store
- A PC free trial
- Price differences between Xbox and PC
Until Xbox or Capcom publishes details on these points, treat the November 18, 2026 date as the only confirmed PC milestone.
