The Molex CMC 154-circuit compliant-pin header is 34763-0001. The 32-circuit solder-pin header is 64334-0100, and the 112-circuit solder-tail header is 64333-0100. These are different configurations, not interchangeable alternatives: confirm the mating receptacle and board-mount requirements against the current Molex drawing and your bill of materials before ordering.

Circuits Molex header part number Mounting / termination Mating receptacle references
154 34763-0001 Right-angle, three-pocket header with compliant-pin press-fit terminals 64321-2011, 64321-2019, and 64320-1318
32 64334-0100 Solder-pin header 64319-3211
112 64333-0100 Solder-tail header 64319-3211, 64320-3319, and 64319-1218

Molex’s CMC family overview supplies the 32- and 112-circuit identities and mating references. Its product brochure and family materials identify the 154-circuit header and its mating receptacles. See the Molex brochure 987650-5254 and the Molex CMC family overview.

What distinguishes the 154-circuit compliant-pin header

Molex describes 34763-0001 as a “154-circuit, 3-pocket, right-angle header with compliant pin terminals for solder-free processing.” Its Eye-of-Needle press-fit terminals are intended for established press-fit assembly processes, rather than soldering the header pins to the board.

The Molex brochure specifies 120 terminals at 0.635 mm, 24 at 1.50 mm, and 10 at 2.80 mm, totaling 154 terminals. It lists a 250 V AC rating and an operating range of -40 to +125 °C. The listed currents are 2.5 A, 12 A, and 21 A for the respective terminal sizes under the brochure’s stated temperature-rise test condition. These are manufacturer-published specifications for the described configuration, not independent test results; consult the drawing for the applicable conditions and design limits.

Molex positions the compliant-pin design for large engine control units and cites heavy-duty agricultural equipment as an application context. That guidance does not establish that any particular vehicle or ECU uses this part.

How to confirm compatibility before ordering

  1. Match the exact header number. Search for the full ordering number—34763-0001, 64334-0100, or 64333-0100—not just “CMC header.”
  2. Verify the mating receptacle. For 34763-0001, check whether the assembly calls for 64321-2011, 64321-2019, or 64320-1318. For the 32-circuit version, the family overview names 64319-3211. For the 112-circuit version, it lists 64319-3211, 64320-3319, and 64319-1218.
  3. Check board assembly requirements. The 154-circuit part uses compliant-pin press-fit mounting. The 32- and 112-circuit parts are identified as solder-pin and solder-tail headers, respectively; confirm the board footprint and assembly process in the applicable drawing.
  4. Confirm the current revision and procurement details. Use the latest Molex drawing and your bill of materials to verify the configuration. The catalog references identify parts, but do not establish live distributor inventory or price.

Molex’s page for receptacle 64320-3319 identifies it as a sealed 48-circuit CMC receptacle and lists use with the 112-circuit header family. That page also lists cavity plugs, CMC terminals, and application tools, including a continuity test pen assembly and unlocking tool. These are service or assembly items to assess for the particular design, not universal requirements.
