Mityl is not a Support-class healer or buffer. She is a Hydro Sentinel damage dealer whose Holograms and Hydro tiles help power her attacks. Build her when you want that damage role and can make use of a Hydro-focused team; choose a different Doll when your roster needs healing, barriers, follow-up attacks, or frontline protection instead.
What Mityl does—and what “support” can mean
Mityl’s role is easiest to judge by her combat function, not by the broad idea of a support character. The September 2026 Mityl build guide describes her as a close-range P90 user, while The Kon Network’s guide identifies Holograms, Hydro tile generation through Tideway, and repeated Aligned Resonance attacks as central to her kit. The IOP Wiki character reference likewise describes how Hydro tiles benefit Mityl and her summons.
“Support” can also refer to a specific combat mechanic. In the game’s combat guide, Action Support is a mechanic that lets a unit assist friendly attacks or counterattack when an ally takes damage, subject to range. That is distinct from the broader roster role of healing, shielding, or enabling a team. Mityl’s Hydro tiles and damage loop do not make her a substitute for every Doll described as support.
Choose by the job your team needs

These role descriptions come from unofficial guides, not a controlled head-to-head test. The September 2026 best-Dolls guide places Mityl in A-tier among units worth raising when owned, but that is patch-dependent editorial guidance—not an official ranking or a universal verdict.

When Mityl makes sense for your roster
The Kon Network guide recommends a lineup attributed to Mityl’s official character introduction: Mityl, OTs-14, Liushih, Springfield, and Florence. For a damage-focused variation, it suggests replacing Florence with Tololo. Treat these as guide recommendations rather than independently tested best-in-slot teams; whether they suit you depends on which Dolls you own and what your team is meant to do.
The same guide flags possible future synergy with Koleda based on a broadcast recap. That is a prospective synergy claim, not evidence that Koleda is a current must-have for Mityl. The official Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium site describes Mityl as “An energetic and active Doll who loves to fight.” That character blurb is flavor text, not a mechanical comparison.

Build a practical Mityl before chasing duplicates
The September 5, 2026 weapons and builds primer says a signature weapon can help but is not mandatory at V0. Its general advice is to establish a usable build first: level the Doll, equip a matching weapon, add attachments, and prioritize Neural Helix Keys that change her rotation before spending on extra copies. This is guide advice, not a guarantee for every account or future patch.
