You can’t rely on the old Mint Trends instructions as current Android steps. Mint’s historical Trends feature charted spending and income, but Intuit’s current Mint pages direct users to Credit Karma and do not confirm that the old charts or Android workflow are still available. For current tracking, check Credit Karma’s interface for the features you need rather than assuming it reproduces Mint Trends.
What Mint Trends showed
Mint Trends was a historical feature for reviewing spending and income over time. Its views included spending by category, spending over time, and income over time. The category chart displayed an amount and percentage for a segment and linked to the transactions included in that category. Intuit’s former education materials also described time-range and account filters, plus clicking chart elements to inspect transaction details. Intuit’s Mint features page now points users toward Credit Karma rather than documenting those old charts.
How the historical workflow worked
These labels describe the former interface, not verified current Android controls. They may help identify old screenshots or explain the steps you remember:

- Select a period, such as Last Month, or choose another available time range.
- In the category chart, select or hover over a segment to view its amount and percentage. Historical materials describe a link from the chart details to the transactions in that category.
- Choose Over Time to view spending in a bar graph or select the income-over-time view. The old materials also describe filtering by account and opening transaction details from chart elements.
Intuit’s education documents describe this workflow, but they do not establish that these controls can be followed in a currently available Mint Android app. See the Mint help and education materials for the historical context.

What Intuit’s Android announcement confirms
In November 2013, Intuit announced that Trends was available in Mint’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch app. The same release separately said Mint data changes synced across web, iOS, and Android devices. That supports a historical claim about syncing; it does not establish that every Trends chart or control was available on Android, much less that it works there now. Intuit’s November 2013 announcement is a record of that launch, not current app guidance.
Where to look for similar tracking now
Intuit says Mint has been reimagined on Credit Karma. Its current Mint pages describe related capabilities such as reviewing transactions, viewing spending by category, monthly insights, and tracking net worth. They do not confirm that Credit Karma has the old Trends charts, the same filters and transaction drill-downs, or an equivalent Android workflow. Open Credit Karma and check its current tools for the specific view you need; do not assume feature parity based on the historical Mint instructions.
