Mind Diver is a compact, fully voiced mystery about investigating a missing boyfriend through the fragmented memories of his partner. Its appeal rests on careful listening, close observation and a relationship story—not action or a sprawling case file. It is a good fit if you want a short narrative deduction game, though players seeking especially difficult puzzles may find its challenge less compelling.
What is Mind Diver about?
Developed by Danish studio Indoor Sunglasses and published by PLAYISM, Mind Diver follows Lina as she explores her deteriorating memories to investigate the disappearance of her boyfriend, Sebastian. PLAYISM frames it as “a murder mystery, where the victim is love,” emphasizing the relationship at the center of the case rather than a conventional procedural investigation.
The premise gives the mystery an intimate focus: you are piecing together what happened to two people by examining Lina’s recollections, not following a detective through a broad set of crime scenes.

That makes the game a better match for players who enjoy attentive observation and narrative deduction than for people looking for action, combat or a large web of independent cases. Published descriptions establish the investigation’s basic loop, but they do not establish that its puzzles are uniformly difficult. How satisfying the challenge feels will depend on how much you value drawing modest deductions from story details.
What are the story and presentation like?
The relationship between Lina and Sebastian is central to the mystery, and published coverage highlights the characters, atmosphere and story. The game is fully voiced in English. PLAYISM says its distinctive visual presentation uses 3D scans of actors and locations in Denmark, giving the memories a grounded, scanned appearance.

Steam lists English interface, full audio and subtitles. Its other listed languages have interface and subtitles, but not full audio in the store’s language table. If voice acting in a language other than English is important to you, check the platform listing for the edition you intend to buy.

It is best approached as a story mystery with clue-based deduction, rather than as a pure puzzle game whose main attraction is complex, demanding logic problems. The listening-and-inspection structure gives attentive players a role in connecting events, while the relationship drama supplies much of the reason to keep investigating.

That distinction matters if you are comparing it with other narrative deduction mysteries. Choose Mind Diver if you want a focused, emotionally centered story and enjoy looking for clues in dialogue and scenery. Consider a different kind of mystery if you mainly want intricate systems, extensive case-solving or a high difficulty ceiling; the available descriptions and reviews do not support promising that experience here.

Mind Diver is available on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. Steam lists its release date as September 28, 2025; the console versions launched August 27, 2026. PLAYISM lists Steam, Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store as purchase routes, but regional availability and pricing can differ.

The limited published review evidence points to a story- and atmosphere-led experience, but it does not establish a universal verdict on puzzle depth. PS4Blog.net’s September 14, 2026 Switch 2 review scored the game 7.5/10 and disclosed that PLAYISM provided the review copy. The Geekly Grind gave its Steam Deck review 8/10; its available page text is dated October 22 but does not establish the year.
