The Miele H 7260 BP PureLine CleanSteel is a 76-litre built-in oven with five shelf levels, pyrolytic cleaning and a published NZ fit specification. Miele’s product material documents its controls and features, but the available evidence does not establish how evenly it bakes, how accurately it holds temperature or how it compares in everyday use. Treat this as a specification-led buying review, not a hands-on performance verdict.
What the Miele H 7260 BP CleanSteel offers
Miele New Zealand lists the PureLine CleanSteel H 7260 BP as a built-in oven with 76 litres of internal volume and five shelf levels. The GB CleanSteel technical sheet describes a related regional version as H 7260 BP CulinArt and lists DirectSensor S controls, automatic programmes, rapid heat-up and pyrolytic cleaning. Those are published features, not independent measurements of cooking results or heat-up time.
Miele UK describes the model in its oven catalog as having a clear-text display and pyrolytic cleaning. The NZ and GB materials use different product naming, so check the exact regional listing and model identifiers rather than assuming every H 7260 BP is identical.

The table reflects distinct regional product documents, not proof that the variants share the same finish, software, fit details or package contents. In particular, the GB Obsidian Black functions should not be treated as a definitive list for the NZ CleanSteel model.

Will it fit your kitchen?
Miele’s NZ listing gives appliance dimensions of 595 × 596 × 569 mm and a cabinet niche range of 560–568 mm wide, 590–595 mm high and 550 mm deep. The page also lists a weight of 47 kg, operating temperatures of 30–300 °C, a 3.6 kW rated load, 220–240 V and a 16 A fuse rating. These figures are for that NZ listing; use the installation drawing supplied for the exact regional model and have a qualified installer confirm cabinet and electrical requirements before ordering.
- Measure the cabinet opening and compare it with the exact model’s installation drawing.
- Confirm electrical supply, fuse and installation requirements with a qualified installer.
- Check the product name, finish and identifiers on the order against the appliance you intend to buy.
Cleaning, controls and cooking modes
Pyrolytic cleaning is documented for both GB variants and the NZ product listing. Miele’s Obsidian Black sheet says the door locks during pyrolytic cleaning; this detail is established for that sheet’s variant and should not automatically be generalized to every market’s CleanSteel model.

Confirm the functions on the regional specification sheet for the finish and model you are buying.

What comes in the box?
The NZ shop listing names a universal tray, a pair of HFC 70-C FlexiClip telescopic runners, removable shelf runners, a grilling and roasting insert, and two baking and roasting racks. The GB CleanSteel sheet also mentions FlexiClip runners, but package contents can vary by market and order. Check the order-specific list before purchasing separate trays or runners; verify HFC 70-C compatibility with your exact model if buying them separately.

What this review can—and cannot—tell you
The available product information comes from Miele listings, technical sheets and its UK oven catalog. It establishes published specifications and features, not independent results for baking evenness, temperature accuracy in use, noise, actual energy consumption, reliability or superiority over another oven. No hands-on test or controlled comparison is established here. If performance evidence matters to your decision, seek testing that names the exact regional model and explains its test method.

- Installation: Verify the cabinet niche and electrical requirements using the exact regional installation sheet.
- Finish and identity: Distinguish the NZ PureLine CleanSteel listing from the GB CleanSteel/CulinArt and Obsidian Black documents; their names and identifiers differ.
- Accessories: Confirm whether the particular order includes FlexiClip runners, trays and racks before buying extras.
- Local ownership terms: Confirm the warranty, servicing arrangements and availability with the local seller or Miele.
- Value: Compare local prices and warranty terms for the precise model. The available material does not establish a current price for the exact NZ CleanSteel model or a dealer price comparison.
For a meaningful comparison with another oven, look at usable capacity and shelf layout, cleaning method, controls and display, cooking modes, included accessories, installation requirements, local price, warranty and service. Published specifications alone do not establish which oven will cook better.
