Its core specification depends on the regional version: Miele Korea lists 1,500 W for its graphite-grey model, while Miele South Africa lists 2,000 W for the Pure Black model. Check the rating plate and local product sheet before relying on either figure or assuming which accessories are included.
What the SGDA3 is—and why the market matters
Miele identifies the SGDA3 as a Complete C3 PowerLine. The Korean listing describes a graphite-grey unit, while the South African specification sheet names a Complete C3 Pure Black PowerLine SGDA3. Both records list an 11 m operating radius and 8.2 kg weight, but they do not agree on rated power: Korea lists 1,500 W; South Africa lists 2,000 W. These are market-specific specifications, not a universal rating. Check the label on the vacuum and the specification for the version sold in your country before comparing it with another model. The South African sheet specifies a 7.5 m cable and lists three additional tools. Do not assume that the same bundle comes with every SGDA3. Similarly, the shared 11 m radius and 8.2 kg listed weight do not remove the need to verify the precise regional package.

Floorhead and suction control
The manufacturer specifications identify the SBD 365-3 floorhead and foot-operated suction adjustment. The included head matters when choosing a vacuum for your flooring, so confirm it is supplied with the specific unit you are considering. The sources establish the floorhead model, but do not provide a controlled SGDA3 test across carpet and hard floors.

Dustbags and exhaust filtration
Both regional records name HyClean GN as the dustbag family; South Africa specifies a 4.5 L bag volume. Match the packaging to the exact machine and market rather than choosing a bag based only on the Complete C3 name. The manufacturer sheets list an AirClean exhaust filter for these SGDA3 versions. They do not establish HEPA filtration, so do not infer that this model has HEPA based on another Complete C3 trim.
Accessories
Miele South Africa lists an upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle and dusting brush alongside the SBD 365-3 floorhead. The Korea listing identifies the floorhead but does not state the same accessory bundle. Check the contents list for the regional package, and verify exact fit and local availability before buying replacement parts.

That is a changing, self-selected user-review aggregate—not a controlled test—and the page title includes “Turbo,” so it should not be treated as a definitive score for every SGDA3 package. Among the accounts on that page, owners praise accessible power controls and the ease of replacing bags and filters. One says suction at the highest setting can lift carpet when using a standard floor attachment. Another regrets buying an AirClean-filter version because it was not HEPA. These are individual reports, not independently verified measurements; the manufacturer’s regional sheets are the stronger evidence for the filter fitted to the versions described above. No independent laboratory test specific to the exact SGDA3 was established in the cited sources.

Who should consider the SGDA3
The SGDA3 is worth considering if you want a bagged canister vacuum and have confirmed that the regional model’s included floorhead suits your floors. Before purchase, check the actual model code and local specification, the bag and filter type, and what tools are in the box. For a comparison with another vacuum, assess the exact model and included head, filtration grade, bag system and ongoing consumable cost, cord and operating radius, weight and handling, and local parts and service. Wattage alone is not a cleaning-performance score.
