No single MeshHub model in the reviewed official materials is confirmed to combine adjustable mood lighting with infrared and dual-frequency radio control. The Linkoze Hub IRF manual documents infrared plus 315 MHz and 433 MHz RF; a separate Hub IR Pro manual documents infrared learning and adjustable light color, but does not list RF. Orbit Smart describes RGB schedules and multi-device scenes as app features, not proof that either hub has every capability.
Which MeshHub product has which features?
The title’s feature combination appears to bring together separate products and app examples. The manuals do not identify the exact retail SKU behind the title, so compare the functions against the model’s own documentation before buying.
| Product or service | What its official material describes | What is not established there |
|---|---|---|
| Linkoze Hub IRF | Infrared control and 315 MHz and 433 MHz RF control, alongside app control, timers, schedules and cloud-based scenes. | Universal remote compatibility, RF modulation or protocol details, RF range, and control through obstructions. |
| Hub IR Pro | Infrared learning, timers, cloud-based scenes and adjustable color for the hub’s own light. | 315 MHz or 433 MHz RF support; neither band is listed in its manual. |
| Orbit Smart app page | Vendor examples of RGB light schedules, multi-device scenes and motion-sensor automation. | A list of compatible third-party devices, brands or protocols. |
What the Linkoze Hub IRF supports
The Hub IRF is the model to examine if you need both infrared and the listed RF bands. Its manual specifies 38 kHz infrared, 315 MHz and 433 MHz radio frequencies, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi using IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. These are manufacturer-stated specifications, not independent compatibility or performance test results.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The manual describes using the hub to simulate signals from traditional remotes, control appliances through an app, set timers or schedules, and include devices in cloud-based smart scenes. The listed frequencies alone do not establish that it can control every remote using those bands: the manual does not specify supported RF protocols or modulation, nor does it promise operation through walls or other obstructions.

Infrared placement and range
For infrared, the Hub IRF manual gives a 180-degree hemispherical direction and a stated control distance of less than 8 m (26 ft). It warns that signal strength can weaken beyond that distance and commands may fail. Infrared placement and line of sight therefore matter; do not treat the listed distance as an RF range. The manual gives no RF range.
Power and physical specifications
The manual lists 5 V/1 A input through USB Type-C, dimensions of 68 × 69 × 25 mm, and weight of 36 g. It does not establish whether a power supply is included.

- [Note] The Bluetooth wireless gateway is powered by USB cable and only supports tuya bluetooth mesh devices. When configuring the network, connect your phone to Wifi and make sure that your phone and the Smart Gateway are on the same Wifi network, which only supports 2.4GHz Wifi, not 5GHz Wifi. IFTTT is also supported.
- [Intelligent Solutions] Bluetooth MESH(SIG) wireless gateway consists of a highly integrated wireless wifi module, a low power wireless bluetooth module and a motherboard. Through tuya smart/smartlife APP, users can realize device add, device reset, third party control and Bluetooth group control to meet the smart home and other applications.
- [Core Information] Product Adaptation: Bluetooth mesh devices. Communication Capability: Wifi+Bluetooth dual protocol. Number of Nodes: Up to 128 Bluetooth mesh sub-devices, typically 50+. Communication Distance (line-of-sight): Indoor 35m, Outdoor 200m+. Penetration Ability: Generally passes through two walls. Development Mode: Development-free.
- [One-key Networking] When the sub-device is in the state of pending network allocation, it can support multiple sub-devices to enter the network at the same time, no need to add sub-devices one by one, and it can also support adding sub-devices under no network environment.
- [Fast Control of Scene/Multicast] Support large-scale group network broadcasting under normal operation, more than 100+ devices are online at the same time, work stably, the device can support local scene linkage, and support cross-gateway linkage under networking state.
What the Hub IR Pro adds—and does not
The separate Hub IR Pro manual describes infrared learning for appliances, timers, cloud scenes and adjustment of the hub’s own light color for atmosphere. It lists 38 kHz infrared, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, 5 V/1 A input, 180-degree hemispherical infrared direction and a stated distance below 8 m (26 ft).

Its manual does not list 315 MHz or 433 MHz RF support. Do not infer that this model has the Hub IRF’s RF capability because the product names or app ecosystem are similar.

How setup and scenes are described
Both manuals describe setup through Smart Life and adding the device from an existing hub’s device-search page. The reset indication differs by model:
- Hub IRF: Hold reset for 10 seconds until the blue LED flashes, then add it through the existing hub’s device search.
- Hub IR Pro: Hold reset for 10 seconds until the green LED flashes, then add it through the existing hub’s device search.
The Hub IRF manual also says that changing the Wi-Fi password requires resetting and reconnecting the device. Its automation example uses a contact sensor and other Linkoze devices to trigger actions. The Hub IR Pro manual describes infrared learning and app-based automation. These flows rely on the stated app and cloud-scene setup; the manuals do not establish that scenes continue to work without cloud access.

Separately, the Orbit Smart app page illustrates RGB schedules—for example, red from 4 am to 7 am and green afterward—and scenes that activate multiple devices, with motion sensors as an automation example. These are vendor-described ecosystem examples, not independent test results or proof that every pictured device or third-party product is compatible.

How to choose the right model
- Choose based on signal type: If your existing remote uses RF, confirm its exact band and protocol against the model documentation. Hub IRF lists 315 MHz and 433 MHz; Hub IR Pro’s manual lists no RF bands. Frequency matching by itself does not guarantee compatibility.
- Check infrared placement: For IR-controlled appliances, account for the Hub IRF’s stated under-8-m (26-ft) distance and hemispherical direction, and verify that the appliance can receive its signal.
- Check app and cloud dependencies: The manuals describe Smart Life setup and cloud scenes. Confirm those services fit your home setup and automation needs.
- Separate hub lighting from smart-light control: Hub IR Pro’s adjustable color is a feature of its own light. Orbit Smart’s RGB schedules and room-lighting scenes are app examples; the page does not enumerate compatible lighting products or protocols.
What the published material does not settle
The reviewed official pages do not verify a single model with all the title’s features, a specific retail SKU, price or regional availability. They also do not provide independent reliability tests, user-satisfaction results, or universal compatibility claims. Treat the stated specifications and app examples as vendor descriptions, and verify a candidate model’s exact manual and your appliance’s signal requirements before relying on it.
