If you’re looking for a Meetingbird replacement, choose by the job you need done: shared calendars, personal time blocking, or a page where people can book appointments. Product Hunt lists options including Google Calendar, Morgen, zcal, TidyCal, and Amie, but those listings are discovery suggestions—not proof that a product matches Meetingbird feature for feature.
What Meetingbird offered—and what is known about its status
Meetingbird was presented as a calendar and scheduling platform. Product Hunt records launches for Meetingbird on July 20, 2016, Meetingbird for Google Calendar on August 15, 2017, and Meetingbird for Gmail on January 22, 2018. Product Hunt’s launch history establishes that historical activity; it does not establish whether the service is still operating or supported in 2026.
The Google Workspace Marketplace listing for Meetingbird for Gmail describes inserting suggested meeting times or a scheduling link into email, detecting time zones, preventing double-booking across multiple calendars, and connecting with services such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Zapier. These are descriptions from the listing, not independent confirmation of current availability or functionality.

2. Check how conflicts are handled
If you use more than one calendar, test whether the candidate checks all relevant calendars before exposing a time for booking. Confirm which accounts it can read, whether busy events are respected, and what happens when another event is added after a slot becomes available. The historical Marketplace description of Meetingbird mentions multi-calendar conflict prevention, but it does not verify that a current alternative behaves the same way.
3. Verify the integrations and team steps you depend on
List the calendar accounts, video meeting service, email workflow, and automation connections that matter. Then confirm each one on the vendor’s current product or help pages. If a team shares booking links or availability rules, check who can manage them and whether those controls are included in the plan you would use.

4. Test the recipient experience
Open the booking link as a recipient, preferably in a different time zone. Check that the available times are clear, the right meeting length and location are applied, and the confirmation and rescheduling steps make sense. For email-based scheduling, test whether the recipient can choose from proposed times without needing an account.
5. Confirm current availability, price, and plan limits
The cited directories do not provide a verified current price comparison. Before migrating, confirm that the candidate is available in your region, supports the account type you use, and includes required features and integrations on an acceptable plan. Check for booking, calendar, or team limits that could change the cost or make a workflow impractical.

What Product Hunt’s Meetingbird alternatives list can—and cannot—tell you
Product Hunt and Capterra are useful for finding names to investigate. Their listings do not establish that a product is actively maintained, available in every region, compatible with your calendar accounts, or equivalent to a Meetingbird capability.
