Marvel has confirmed Zodiac, a Marvel Television spy thriller for Disney+. GamesRadar+ reported from New York Comic Con on October 8, 2026, that Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum said filming is planned for London in spring and the series is set to arrive in 2028.
What Marvel announced about Zodiac
At Marvel’s New York Comic Con television and animation panel, Head of Streaming, Television and Animation Brad Winderbaum described Zodiac as a spy thriller. GamesRadar+ reported his remarks and the project details; its accessible coverage is secondary reporting rather than a directly inspected Marvel post.

Winderbaum said, “It’s a spy thriller. We start shooting in London this spring.” GamesRadar+ also reported that the series is intended for Disney+ in 2028. No exact filming date or release month and day were given.
When does filming start, and when will it come out?
- Filming: Planned to begin in London in spring, according to Winderbaum as quoted by GamesRadar+. The announcement did not give a calendar date.
- Release: The reported target is 2028 on Disney+. Marvel has not specified a month or day in the announcement coverage.
Has the cast been announced?
No cast members were named in the GamesRadar+ announcement coverage. Winderbaum said casting would begin in the next couple of weeks, speaking at the October 8, 2026 panel: “I’m sure there’s going to be lots of spoilers because we’re going to start casting it in the next couple of weeks, and it is amazing.” That was a statement about the planned casting process, not a cast list.

Is the series based on Marvel’s Zodiac comics?
A direct connection to a particular Marvel Comics character or storyline has not been confirmed in the announcement coverage. GamesRadar+ discussed a prominent masked Zodiac villain who debuted in the 2009 Dark Reign event and later confronted Moon Knight, but the report said it was unclear whether that character is connected to the show. The series should not be described as an adaptation of that villain, Dark Reign or Moon Knight based on what has been announced.
Winderbaum said the logo contains details for comic fans. GamesRadar+ interpreted some of them as possible SHIELD and Iron Man references; those are the outlet’s interpretations, not confirmation that either will appear in the story.
