Android Authority reported on October 2, 2026, that Amazon was selling the Marshall Major V for $89.99—$40 below Marshall’s stated $129.99 recommended retail price and $2 above the report’s cited all-time low. Check the live Amazon listing for the current price, seller, color and stock before buying; the figures below describe that dated report, not a guaranteed price today.
Is the Marshall Major V a good deal at $89.99?
For shoppers who want a compact on-ear design, very long claimed battery life and both wireless and wired listening, the reported $89.99 price is compelling. The main compromises are equally clear: the Major V has no active noise cancellation and no water-resistance rating.
The $89.99 price, $129.99 reference price and “$2 shy of its all-time low” comparison come from Android Authority’s October 2, 2026 deal report. Amazon pricing can change without notice.

Who should buy it
A strong fit
- You prefer an on-ear fit and a foldable, travel-friendly build.
- You value extremely long stated battery life over noise cancellation.
- You want both Bluetooth listening and a supplied 3.5 mm wired option.
- You like app-adjustable controls and EQ rather than a fixed setup.
Look elsewhere if
- You need active noise cancellation for aircraft, trains or loud offices.
- You need headphones suitable for rain, workouts or other wet conditions.
- You specifically want an over-ear seal instead of on-ear earcups.
How to evaluate the Amazon offer
- Open the live Amazon listing and confirm it is the Marshall Major V, not a different Marshall model.
- Check the displayed seller, condition, color and delivery details.
- Compare the current price with the reported $89.99 deal price; do not assume the October 2 offer is still active.
- Confirm the return policy and that the box includes the USB-C charging cable and 3.5 mm audio cord.
- If you need ANC, water resistance or a different fit, treat those as deal-breakers rather than trading them away for the discount.
