Marshall and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong teamed up for the September 2024 launch campaign for the Monitor III A.N.C. wireless headphones. The campaign’s “Time of Your Life” framing connects the collaboration to Marshall’s message about music bringing people together; the headphones themselves are over-ear Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode and manufacturer-rated battery life of up to 70 hours with ANC enabled.
What is the Billie Joe Armstrong and Marshall connection?
Marshall announced on 25 September 2024 that it had joined forces with Armstrong to launch the Monitor III A.N.C. wireless headphones. Marshall identifies Armstrong as Green Day’s frontman and describes the campaign as a celebration of music as a uniting force amid chaos. What the Monitor III A.N.C. offers
The Monitor III A.N.C. is a foldable, over-ear wireless headphone. Its listed features cover noise control, connectivity, audio functions and portability:

- Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint: Marshall lists multipoint connectivity for connecting to more than one device.
- Soundstage spatial audio: Marshall says this feature places music on a virtual stage around the listener. It is a manufacturer-described effect, not an independent performance measurement.
- Adaptive Loudness / Dynamic Loudness: Marshall lists loudness adjustment among the headphone’s audio features.
- Spotify Tap and customizable M-button: The M-button can be configured for supported functions, including Spotify Tap.
- Foldable design and hard case: The headphones fold for storage and are listed with a hard case.
- Bluetooth LE Audio readiness: Marshall describes the headphones as ready for Bluetooth LE Audio.
Marshall’s product page also says 66% of the product’s plastic is recycled, based on the company’s material accounting. That is a manufacturer sustainability claim. Sound and noise control: what is established
Marshall audio and acoustics engineer Nicolas Pignier Delafontaine says the company revised the acoustic design to improve sound, ANC, transparency and voice calls. That describes Marshall’s design intent; the available product information does not establish how the Monitor III A.N.C. measures against competing headphones or how well it performs in independent tests.

For a buying comparison, look beyond feature names. Useful evidence includes measured ANC and transparency performance, call quality, comfort and weight, and sound quality across different listening conditions. The manufacturer specifications establish the feature set, but do not answer those comparative questions.
Price and availability
Marshall’s September 2024 UK launch announcement listed a price of £299 and said availability began on 24 September 2024 through Marshall.com and select retailers. Marshall’s US headphone collection lists the black and cream Monitor III A.N.C. models at $379.99. These are region-specific prices shown in Marshall material, not a single global price; current pricing, stock and availability may have changed.

They are worth considering if you want a foldable over-ear Bluetooth headphone with ANC, Transparency mode, multipoint and a long manufacturer-rated battery life. Whether they are worth buying at the price available to you depends on factors the listed specifications cannot settle—especially comfort, call performance, noise cancellation and sound relative to alternatives. Seek independent comparisons on those points before choosing if they are central to your purchase.
