The exact Freely box deal in the headline—its price, retailer and deadline—could not be verified. Don’t rely on “lowest price yet” or an hours-left countdown without checking a live retailer listing and a reliable price history. The product most closely matching the description is the Manhattan Aero, a Freely 4K streaming box. A TechRadar review published 13 July 2026 called it the first Freely 4K streaming box, but that is the review’s description, not an independently established “world’s first” claim.
What is the Freely box, and what does it do?
Freely streams live and on-demand television over home broadband, rather than receiving Freeview through an aerial. The Manhattan Aero is a physical streaming device intended to add Freely to a compatible existing TV. Freely says a TV needs an HDMI port and home broadband, and recommends at least 10 Mbps for live and on-demand streaming. Those are Freely’s service requirements and recommendation, not a guarantee of performance on every connection. Freely’s guide to watching Freely
Is the Manhattan Aero deal really at its lowest price?
There is not enough verified information to confirm the headline’s specific sale price, retailer, deadline or “lowest price yet” claim. TechRadar’s review, published 13 July 2026, gave the Aero a price of £89.99 and said it was out of stock at Amazon when checked. That is dated reporting, not confirmation of today’s checkout price or stock. TechRadar’s Manhattan Aero review
T3 reported that the Aero initially cost £69.99 and was planned to rise to £89.99 in an article dated 14 April 2026. That historical price context does not establish a current offer or prove a record low. T3’s April 2026 Aero price report

- The Google TV Streamer (4K) delivers your favorite entertainment quickly, easily, and personalized to you[1,2]
- HDMI 2.1 cable required (sold separately)
- See movies and TV shows from all your services right from your home screen[2]; and find new things to watch with tailored recommendations for everyone in your home based on their interests and viewing habits
- Watch live TV and access over 800 free channels from Pluto TV, Tubi, and more[3]; if you find an interesting show or movie on your TV, mobile app, or Google search, you can easily add it to your watchlist, so it’s ready when you are[2]
- Up to 4K HDR with Dolby Vision delivers captivating, true-to-life detail[4]; and you can connect speakers that support Dolby Atmos for more immersive 3D sound
Check the retailer’s product page for the price charged at checkout, whether the item is in stock, delivery costs and any time limit. A crossed-out price or countdown alone does not establish a product’s lowest historical price.
Who should consider the Aero?
The Aero may suit someone who wants Freely on an existing HDMI-equipped TV and prefers a dedicated device to relying on a television’s built-in platform. TechRadar reviewer Harry Padoan described it as a practical add-on with Freely live channels and apps including Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. App availability and service access can change, so confirm that the apps you need are supported before buying. TechRadar’s Manhattan Aero review

How does it compare with the Netgem PLEIO?
Netgem PLEIO is another Freely-capable device. T3 reporting describes it as offering Android TV app access, with optional PLEIO Extra features such as additional channels and cloud gaming. Those extras may involve a subscription; check current pricing and terms rather than relying on older launch or price-promise coverage. T3’s PLEIO coverage T3’s PLEIO price-promise report

Don’t confuse the Freely TV promotion with a box deal
Freely’s official page showed a Panasonic 43-inch W85 television at £449.99, reduced from £499.99, for 6 and 7 October 2026. That promotion was for a television, not evidence of a Manhattan Aero or other Freely box price drop. Freely’s offers page
