Maker Faire Paris returned to the Musée des Arts et Métiers on April 11–12, 2026, bringing hands-on workshops, demonstrations and creative activities back to the city after a four-year absence. The event has ended; the reviewed listings do not say whether another Paris edition will take place.
Where and when Maker Faire Paris took place
The fair was held at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, a setting the event’s official page presented as a meeting point between the history of invention and contemporary making. The museum listed public hours of 10:00–18:00 on both Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, 2026.

The Paris event page and museum listing agree on those public dates. Maker Faire’s global directory listed April 10–12, but the local listings identify April 11–12 and provide hours for those two days; those are the dates used here.

What visitors could see and do
The museum described the audience broadly, from hobbyists and experienced inventors to curious visitors. The programme combined introductory workshops, ongoing demonstrations, performances and other creative experiences, with opportunities to observe, experiment and make things.

Science, music and a Tesla coil
One listed highlight was the Ozone Coiler Tesla-coil show, which combined science and music. It was one example from the programme, not a complete account of every demonstration at the fair.
A talk on turning 3D printing into a business
The programme also listed a talk by Mathilde Berchon of FuturFab about developing a business around 3D printing. That gave the event a practical entrepreneurship angle alongside its demonstrations and hands-on activities.
Admission and event partner
The museum listing said Maker Faire was included with the museum entrance ticket, except for the Flops? exhibition. It did not state an exact admission price.
The venue recap identified Leroy Merlin as the partner carrying the Maker Faire movement in France for this edition. That partner role is an event fact; it does not, by itself, establish an affiliate relationship.

The Musée des Arts et Métiers said the fair returned after four years away. Make:’s April 10, 2026 preview described the move from the former Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie venue to the Musée des Arts et Métiers. The new setting tied a contemporary maker gathering to a museum focused on the history of science and technology.
Will Maker Faire Paris return?
The reviewed event and museum pages do not announce another Paris edition, so a future date is not established. They also provide no verifiable attendance or exhibitor count for the 2026 event.
