Madurai District Collector Nishant Krishna visited private IT companies at ELCOT parks near Vadapalanji and Pandikovil, according to an India Live report published October 6, 2026. The report says he asked about company operations, staffing, recruitment, salaries and workplace amenities, and urged companies to take part in a district Mega Job Fair scheduled for October 10.
What the Collector asked companies
India Live reported that Krishna discussed how the companies operate and what they need from employees. His questions covered staffing levels, job roles, recruitment procedures, required qualifications and skills, selection tests and interviews, and salary arrangements. The report also says he asked about the work environment and basic amenities, including drinking water and transport.
These were topics raised during the visits, not confirmation that the companies changed their facilities or that any specific hiring issue was resolved.
