Yes. Luca Williams-Barnett is named in the Premier League’s published 2026/27 Tottenham squad list. The league says these lists include Under-21 players, so his entry confirms squad-list inclusion—not a new senior appearance or a regular first-team role.
What the squad-list entry confirms
The Premier League lists him as “Williams-Barnett, Luca James” under Tottenham. The league’s explanatory note says its club squad lists include Under-21 players. The entry is therefore evidence that he is included in the published list, but it does not by itself establish his selection for a particular match or status as a regular senior player. His senior experience so far
Williams-Barnett has already made a senior appearance for Tottenham. The club says he came on as a second-half substitute against Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup in September 2025, entering in the 87th minute at 16 years, 11 months and 24 days old. Tottenham assigned him Legacy Number 900 after the debut. Tottenham’s report on his debut

From Tottenham academy to a professional contract
Tottenham describes Williams-Barnett as an attacking midfielder. He joined the academy as an Under-10 after playing for his hometown club, Luton Town. The club announced on 2 October 2025 that he had signed his first professional contract; it did not disclose the contract’s length or financial terms. His youth record includes strong attacking performances, but those should not be confused with senior-team output. Tottenham’s profile highlights five goals in a single Under-19 UEFA Youth League game against Slavia Prague in December 2025. The club also describes his Under-18 scoring, Under-21 performances and England youth caps. That five-goal figure is a single-match academy milestone, not a senior or season total. What Tottenham’s manager has said
After a pre-season match against Sydney FC in July 2026, manager Roberto De Zerbi praised Williams-Barnett while emphasizing the need to develop him physically and provide the right opportunities. Tottenham quoted De Zerbi saying, “We have to manage him like a precious diamond,” and describing him as “a potential special player.” Those comments express the manager’s view at that time; they do not promise future selection. What is not established
The squad-list entry and debut do not show how often Williams-Barnett will feature in the first team. The available information does not establish a complete senior-season total for appearances, minutes or goals, nor does the Premier League listing alone confirm a new senior appearance. His academy figures should not be substituted for senior statistics.
