LOVE Magazine Issue 27’s GTA VI collectible edition reportedly sold out on preorder within minutes, ahead of its expected October 5, 2026 newsstand release. The €25 issue’s preview includes Rockstar-created cover art, new images of Jason and Lucia, and interview excerpts about the protagonists and the game’s world. The sellout and price are reported by Beebom; no print run, order total, or current stock confirmation has been published.
What sold out—and what is known about the issue
The reported sellout concerns the physical GTA VI collectible edition of LOVE Magazine Issue 27, whose preorders through KD Presse were said to have sold out before the expected October 5, 2026 newsstand date. Beebom reports a €25 price for that edition. “Within minutes” is the report’s description; no exact duration, quantity printed, or number of orders is available. Beebom’s October 2 report and VICE’s October 2 coverage both give October 5 as the expected release date.
The previewed issue pairs Rockstar-created cover art with an interview and several images of Jason and Lucia. Beebom describes scenes of the pair at a diner and playing pool. These are images previewed for the magazine, not a count of every image in the game or in Rockstar’s broader media library.
What the interview preview says about Jason and Lucia
The excerpts describe a contrast in how the two protagonists approach their circumstances: Lucia is portrayed as actively pursuing a better life, while Jason is more often reacting to events around him. The writers’ stated aim, as reported in the preview coverage, was to make both characters vulnerable and flawed, with room to learn from each other.
#1 Best Overall
Game writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern is quoted as saying: “We wanted both protagonists to be vulnerable, tough, flawed, right sometimes, wrong sometimes.” Beebom summarizes their version of the American Dream as something grounded in securing a home, supporting family, and paying debts—not simply becoming extraordinarily wealthy. That is a report’s account of the interview’s themes, not a complete or independently confirmed plot synopsis. VICE characterizes the relationship as a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style partnership set amid excess.
Can you still buy the issue?
The reported preorder sellout does not establish whether copies are now available from a seller, at newsstands, or through resale. Neither current inventory nor resale pricing is confirmed in the available coverage. Before purchasing, check that a listing identifies LOVE Magazine Issue 27 and the GTA VI collectible edition, then verify the seller, shipping destination and total cost, copy condition, and live stock. A search result or marketplace listing alone is not confirmation that the correct edition is available.

How this magazine story relates to GTA VI
The story concerns a magazine issue, not the game’s release or a newly announced game edition. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page is the place to check its current game media library; its displayed screenshot count can change and is not the number of images in LOVE. Separately, Rockstar’s official store lists November 19, 2026 as the game’s release date and describes a physical code-in-box option that contains a download code rather than a disc. Those game details do not indicate magazine availability.
