Love and Deepspace’s official account warned players not to recreate or consume fictional drinks after promotional graphics included poisonous flowers. The posts prompted safety concerns, but the reports do not establish that anyone drank the plants or was poisoned.
What happened with the Love and Deepspace drink posts?
In late September 2026, the game’s official social account shared five character-themed “Shimmering Blend” drink concepts connected to an in-game event. Kursiv says the post appeared September 28, while Dexerto gives September 29; the original post could not be independently verified, so the exact date is uncertain. (Kursiv; Dexerto)
Coverage singled out two concepts: pomegranate juice and cinnamon decorated with datura, and peach juice and gelatin decorated with flame lily. The outlets describe both flowers as toxic and potentially fatal if consumed. The ingredient lists were part of fictional promotional content, not safe recipes; do not try to source, prepare, or taste these plants.

What did the safety notice say?
On September 30, the official account posted a warning. Kursiv and Dexerto reproduce it as: “Safety Notice: All drinks shown are fictional and for in-game purposes only. Do not attempt to recreate or consume them in reality.” Direct access to the original X post was unavailable, so this is the wording as quoted by those outlets.

Why did the post draw criticism?
Players raised concerns that recipe-like promotional graphics containing toxic flowers could be mistaken for real-world instructions. The safety notice clarified that the drinks were fictional and should not be recreated or consumed.

The reports reviewed do not document anyone consuming the listed plants or suffering poisoning. The established story is a potential safety hazard followed by player criticism and an official warning—not a confirmed poisoning incident.
