Use the official Truist website or the direct Truist Online Banking page to sign in. The standard personal-banking login is available at truist.com, while the direct login page is dias.bank.truist.com/ui/login.
Before entering your credentials, check the address bar carefully. The direct page should use the dias.bank.truist.com subdomain and display Truist Online Banking. Do not enter your User ID, password, card number, PIN, or one-time code into a link received unexpectedly by email or text.

Sign in with a passkey
Truist currently supports passkey sign-in in addition to a password. On the direct login page, select Sign in with passkey, then follow the prompt from your device or passkey provider. Depending on how the passkey was created, you may verify yourself with a fingerprint, face recognition, device PIN, or security key.
If you have not configured one, use Learn more or enable passkey on the login page. Passkeys are tied to an authenticated device or credential manager, so they are different from saving a password in your browser.
Sign in with a QR code
The direct login page also offers Sign in with QR code. Truist’s QR instructions are to sign in to the Truist Mobile app, enable biometrics, and rescan the QR code if needed.
- Select Sign in with QR code on the Truist online-banking login page.
- Sign in to the Truist Mobile app.
- Enable biometrics in the app if prompted or if they are not already enabled.
- Use the app to scan the QR code shown in your browser.
- Rescan the code if the first scan does not complete the approval.
Only scan a QR code displayed on the official Truist login page. A QR code in an unsolicited message can direct you to a fraudulent site.
How to register for Truist online banking
If you see Don’t have an online user ID?, select Register now on the direct login page. From the public Truist site, select Set up online banking. Follow the enrollment prompts to verify your identity and create an online User ID and password.

For a locked account, Truist directs customers to recover their User ID or reset their password. If you never created an online User ID, use the registration option instead.
For online- or mobile-banking help, contact Truist at 888-228-6654. Have identifying information available, but never give an unsolicited caller a one-time passcode simply because they claim to be from the bank.
One-time passcodes and unusual sign-in activity
Truist may send a unique one-time passcode by text or email when it detects unusual sign-in activity or needs to verify your identity. Keep the phone number and email address on your account current so you can receive legitimate verification messages.
A real verification code is not permission for another person to access your account. Truist identifies one-time-passcode scams as a threat: a criminal may contact you, pretend to be a bank employee, and ask you to read back a code that was sent to you. Do not share that code with anyone.

Choosing the correct Truist sign-in
The ordinary Truist online-banking login is not the entry point for every Truist-related service. On the Truist site, select Sign in to another account if you use a specialized service. Available routes include:
- Association Online Payments
- Truist PortfolioView
- Wealthscape Investor
- Treasury, Commercial, & Truist Securities
Using the wrong sign-in can make a valid User ID appear not to work. Business, commercial, wealth-management, and association users should choose the service that matches their account.
Security checks before signing in
- Type truist.com yourself or use a bookmark you created after checking it.
- For the direct page, verify the domain is dias.bank.truist.com and that the connection uses HTTPS.
- Do not sign in from a link that asks you to “verify” your account urgently.
- Truist says it will not ask for personal or account information through email, text, or social media.
- Never disclose your password, Social Security number, PIN, card number, or one-time passcode in response to an unsolicited request.
- Enable multifactor authentication when Truist offers the option. Truist supports biometric verification and one-time codes sent by text or email.
