Søgaard’s experience before joining Syracuse
The Crunch biography says Søgaard spent his first six professional seasons in the Ottawa Senators organization. It credits him with 31 NHL games for Ottawa from 2021 to 2026 and 131 AHL games with Belleville. In 2025–26, he appeared in 27 games for Belleville and posted a 7-13-4 record.
Those career and prior-season figures provide context, but the Syracuse shutout is a single-game result. It does not, by itself, establish how his performance or the Crunch’s season will develop.
