TechRadar reported an Amazon Prime offer on the Graphite, chair-only LiberNovo Maxis Manual for $848 on October 6, 2026, down from a stated $1,119. Its summary instead says $849, so the reported price is inconsistent; check the Amazon listing for the live price, Prime eligibility, color and bundle contents before buying. LiberNovo specifies the chair for users 5’10″–6’7″ and up to 399 lb, but those are manufacturer figures—not independently verified fit or load-test results.
What the reported Maxis Manual deal includes
The offer covered the Graphite Maxis Manual in a chair-only configuration on Amazon. TechRadar’s detailed price block gave $848, reduced from $1,119; the article’s summary gave $849. TechRadar published the deal report on October 6, 2026, and said the offer was then the lowest price it had seen, following a brief September offer at $939. Those are dated observations, not a promise of today’s price or a verified long-term price history.
TechRadar also disclosed that it had not tested the Maxis Manual. Its favorable mention of a review of another LiberNovo chair is not a Maxis review, so it does not establish this model’s comfort, durability or real-world fit.

What “built differently” means on the Manual
Manual describes the lumbar adjustment: this version uses manual lumbar support rather than the powered mechanism in the Electric and Airflow models. It is not otherwise described as a stripped-down chair. LiberNovo lists a dynamic support system, Bionic Flexfit backrest, extended headrest adjustment, adjustable armrests and controlled recline for the Maxis Manual. These are manufacturer-described features, not independently tested performance claims.

Is the Maxis Manual the right size?
LiberNovo recommends the chair for people 5’10″–6’7″ (178–200 cm) and lists a maximum load of 399 lb (181 kg). Treat both as manufacturer specifications. Height and weight alone do not determine fit: seat depth and the relationship between your body, desk and chair adjustments matter.
Seat depth and shorter legs
The listed seat depth is 52 cm (about 20.5 in). LiberNovo cautions that the seat may feel deep for people under 5’10” and suggests using a footrest. If you have shorter legs, compare the seat depth with your seated leg length and consider whether you can sit back while keeping your feet supported.

Fit above the recommended height
For users taller than 6’7″, LiberNovo says a good fit is not guaranteed. It advises checking seated shoulder height, leg length and whether the headrest reaches comfortably; trying the chair in person, if possible, is prudent.

Other listed adjustment dimensions
LiberNovo lists a 16.9-inch backrest shoulder width, 20.5-inch waist width and 24.8-inch distance from the seat to the top of the backrest. The headrest travels 5.5 inches vertically and 4.7 inches forward or backward. The armrests adjust 5.1 inches forward or backward, 5.0 inches in height, and across a 15.7–23.6-inch width range. Compare these manufacturer measurements with your seated posture and desk setup rather than relying on the weight rating as a proxy for fit.
