Yes—the Lian Li SUP01 puts the graphics card at the front of the case, while an AIO radiator mounts in a separate side position. It is a 44.8-liter stand-up case that supports standard ATX boards as well as ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX back-connect boards. Lian Li’s product page describes the layout and specifications; its cooling claims are manufacturer claims, not independent test results.
How the SUP01’s front-GPU layout works
The SUP01 uses a front-facing GPU installation rather than the conventional arrangement in which the graphics card sits parallel to the motherboard. Lian Li says the included 510 mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable connects the card to the motherboard. The front mesh is intended to feed air directly to the GPU, with three pre-installed 120 mm fans exhausting its heat through the side.
That arrangement makes the GPU’s display connections face toward the front of the chassis. Lian Li describes provisions for routing HDMI and DisplayPort cables out of the case so they can reach a monitor. Check the routing path and cable reach against your desk placement and monitor connections before building.

The radiator mounts in the second side position, in a chamber separate from the GPU. Lian Li lists support for either a 360 mm or 280 mm radiator there. Its product page says the radiator draws air through a rear opening and exhausts through side mesh; it recommends setting the right-side fans to exhaust and the rear fan to intake.
#1 Best Overall
- 45-liter stand-up platform case for a minimal footprint
- Independent chambered direct cooling design that brings the most effective heat dissipation for all core components
- Includes 510mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable with an RGB lighting cover that shares the same lighting effects with the case ARGB strip
- Includes an exterior 120mm fan mounting bracket at the rear to push fresh air into the chassis
- Includes 3 x 120mm performance fans at the side for GPU exhaust
Those airflow directions and the claimed improvement in heat dissipation describe Lian Li’s design intent. The product information cited here does not establish independent thermal or acoustic performance. Before choosing a cooler, verify radiator thickness, pump height, tubing clearance, and the cooler maker’s own dimensions against the case manual and your components.
SUP01 compatibility and specifications
| Feature | Lian Li specification |
|---|---|
| Capacity and dimensions | 44.8 liters; 403.45 mm deep × 212 mm wide × 534 mm high, or 524 mm high without feet |
| Motherboard formats | ITX, Micro-ATX, standard ATX, and ATX back-connect |
| Maximum GPU length | 400 mm |
| CPU cooler or pump height | Up to 88.2 mm |
| Power supply | ATX PSU up to 220 mm long |
| Radiator support | 360 mm or 280 mm in side position 2 |
| Included fans | Three 120 mm PWM fans |
| Fan positions | One side supports three 120 mm; the other supports three 120 mm or two 140 mm; exterior rear position supports one 120 mm |
| Expansion slots | Seven low-profile slots, or four standard-profile slots with the extension cable |
| Storage | Up to four 2.5-inch SSDs or two 3.5-inch HDDs |
| Front I/O | Two USB-A 3.0 ports, one USB-C 3.1 port, microphone connection, and lighting controls |
| Materials and colors | Steel and 4.0 mm tempered glass; black or white |
These are manufacturer-listed values, not independent measurements. Confirm the exact combination of GPU, motherboard, PSU, cooler, and cables in the current SUP01 manual: component length alone may not establish clearance for a specific card or build.

- In collaboration with PCMasterRace
- The case included tempered glass panels on the front, top, and left side
- A top mesh panel included for the installation of a 360 AIO.
- Compatible with back-connect motherboards
- The innovative design conceals AIO tubing within the second chamber when the AIO is positioned on the side
What to check before building
- GPU dimensions and connections: Keep the card within the listed 400 mm length limit, and check its thickness and power-connector clearance in the manual. Plan the front-facing display-cable route and make sure the monitor cables can reach.
- Cooler fit: Match the AIO’s radiator size to the supported 360 mm or 280 mm side position, then verify radiator thickness, pump height against the 88.2 mm limit, and tubing path.
- Board and PSU: Confirm your motherboard format is supported and your ATX power supply is no longer than 220 mm.
- Slot profile: Check whether your expansion-card arrangement requires the seven low-profile slots or the extension cable for four standard-profile slots.
- Storage and airflow plan: Compare your drive needs with the listed maximums and map fan orientation to your intended build; Lian Li’s recommended orientations are design guidance, not a tested guarantee of temperatures.
What the design does—and does not—establish
The SUP01’s defining feature is its physical layout: a front-mounted graphics card, a separate side radiator position, and included riser and case fans. Lian Li says the GPU receives direct cool air through the front mesh and expels heat through the side fans. That is the manufacturer’s explanation of the airflow path, not proof that the case runs cooler or quieter than a conventional case. No independent thermal or acoustic result is established by the cited product information.
