LIAN LI announced its Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2 power supplies, alongside the Edge Hub ADV and Edge Hub V2, on October 2, 2026. The fully modular, ATX 3.1 PSUs use an L-shaped layout aimed at dual-chamber PC cases; the ADV hub adds temperature monitoring, alerts, and automated shutdown. The announcement lists two starting prices, but does not establish current retail pricing or availability.

The October 2, 2026 announcement covers two PSU families and two internal connectivity hubs:

What is the difference between Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2?
The main stated differences are the available wattages, the manufacturer-listed efficiency certification tiers, the Platinum model’s dust-filter reminder, and selected cable and hub bundle details. LIAN LI’s announcement does not include independent efficiency, acoustic, or reliability test results, so its certification labels should not be read as a comparative real-world performance ranking.

Does the Edge Platinum V2 fit a dual-chamber case?
LIAN LI says the L-shaped Edge V2 units are intended for dual-chamber cases. The design turns the connectors outward so cable runs can stay out of the main chamber; that is the manufacturer’s stated design benefit, not an independently verified cable-management result.

The announced dimensions are 182 × 86 × 150 mm across Edge V2 wattages. Measure the PSU bay, nearby panels, cable openings, and clearance for the connector-facing side in the specific case. A case being dual-chamber—or the PSU being ATX 3.1—does not by itself establish physical compatibility. Also check the orientation of the PSU mount and whether the case layout gives the L-shaped connectors room to be accessed and routed.
What do the Edge Hub ADV and Edge Hub V2 do?
Both hubs are intended to expand internal fan and USB connectivity. The ADV adds monitoring and safety functions beyond header expansion. LIAN LI lists the ADV in black and white, with six fan headers, USB connectivity, and a two-year warranty.

LIAN LI says the ADV is designed to work with any ATX 3.1 PSU, so it is not presented as requiring an Edge V2 power supply. The Edge Hub V2 is identified as a hub, but the announcement does not provide an equivalent feature list for it.

Which Edge V2 model or hub should you consider?
- Choose by wattage first: compare your system’s power needs against the available 850W, 1000W, 1200W, and 1350W options; the announcement does not provide a system-specific sizing guide.
- Consider Platinum V2 if its listed extras matter: it is the family with the magnetic filter and 360-hour cleaning reminder; the 1350W version is the one specifically called out for shortened back-connect and Strimer-routing cables.
- Consider Gold V2 for the listed Gold-tier options: it is available at 850W and 1000W. Confirm whether the exact 1000W SKU in your region includes Edge Hub V2.
- Choose the ADV for monitoring needs: it is the hub with GPU cable temperature tracking, alerts, and shutdown functions. If you only need internal fan and USB expansion, the announcement does not establish that you need ADV’s added monitoring.
