These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. LG’s product specifications caution: “Actual refresh rates may vary depending on computer graphics specifications and configurations.” The 240Hz headline therefore does not establish that every PC, console, or game can output 240Hz at the full 5120 × 2160 resolution. The UK product page specifies USB-C Power Delivery up to 90W; do not assume that regional specification applies to every SKU without checking its listing.

How large is the display in practical terms?
LG describes the screen as 21:9 and says its vertical height is similar to a 42-inch 16:9 3840 × 2160 display. LG Canada also describes it as providing a 33% wider workspace. Those are manufacturer comparisons, not independent measurements. What to verify before buying
- Current price and stock: Neither the expired preorder terms nor the current product page establishes what the monitor costs or whether it is in stock today.
- Regional model code: Confirm the full suffix for the country and retailer where you intend to buy.
- Your system’s output: Check the graphics hardware, connection, and game settings against the resolution and refresh rate you want. LG’s maximum figures alone do not guarantee a particular resolution-and-refresh combination.
- Desk fit: Check the regional product listing for the physical dimensions and make sure the 52-inch display and adjustable stand suit your setup.
- Cable and box contents: LG lists DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports, but the available specifications do not establish which cables are included. Confirm what comes in the box and what your device requires before buying accessories.
LG introduced the UltraGear evo line in a December 26, 2025 corporate announcement, alongside models 39GX950B and 27GM950B. Their names do not make their panel types or features interchangeable with this 52G930B. LG’s lineup announcement identifies the three models.
