For the 2026 models, LG B6 and Samsung S90H suit different priorities rather than producing a clear universal winner. The Samsung advertises reflection-reducing Glare Free technology and up to 4K/165Hz for qualifying PC gaming; LG offers Dolby Vision and 4K/120Hz. The right choice depends on your room, HDR sources, gaming hardware, size, and local price.

First, confirm the generation: LG has used “B6” for both a 2026 OLED and a 2016 model, while Samsung’s S90 family includes different year-specific models, including 2026 S90H and 2025 S90F. This comparison is specifically about the 2026 LG B6 and Samsung S90H, not every B6/S90 pairing. LG’s official listings include a UK OLED65B65LA example; Samsung’s include a US QN55S90HAEXZA example, which is not the same size or market. LG’s B6 listing and Samsung’s S90H listing show why the complete model number matters.

How do the 2026 LG B6 and Samsung S90H differ?

The most useful distinctions in the available specifications and reviews are Samsung’s advertised reflection reduction and conditional PC refresh-rate ceiling, LG’s Dolby Vision support, and the formats and gaming equipment you actually use. Neither feature list alone establishes which set has better picture quality overall.

Which TV fits your room and HDR content?

Consider Samsung S90H if reflections are a concern

Samsung says the S90H’s Glare Free technology is designed to reduce reflections. That claim may make it worth considering for a bright or reflection-prone room, but it does not show how it compares with a particular B6 in your space. Room layout, windows, lamps, and screen placement still matter.

Consider LG B6 if Dolby Vision matters to your sources

TechRadar’s B6 review identifies Dolby Vision support and says the TV does not support HDR10+. Tom’s Guide lists HDR10+ formats for the S90H. Check the services, discs, and devices you watch: format availability varies by source, so one format is not automatically more useful to every household. TechRadar’s B6 review; Tom’s Guide’s S90H review.

What should gamers know about 120Hz versus 165Hz?

For console gaming

Do not assume Samsung’s 165Hz headline applies to a console. Samsung’s 2026 lineup note says: “4K 165Hz is only available with PC-connected games that support such specifications (PC graphic card required).” For a console, compare the console’s supported resolution and refresh modes with the TV’s VRR and other gaming features. LG advertises 4K/120Hz on the B6; Samsung’s higher figure is specifically conditional on compatible PC hardware and games. Samsung’s lineup note; LG’s B6 listing.

LG lists G-SYNC and FreeSync features and advertises 4K/120Hz for the B6. Check the exact model sold in your country and the capabilities of your GPU before treating a refresh-rate maximum as a benefit you can use.

Review measurements are results from particular samples and test methods, not guaranteed performance for every unit or a direct comparison with the S90H.

These outlets’ figures come from separate review contexts. In particular, do not compare the brightness numbers across the two reviews as though they used one shared protocol; the cited material does not establish a same-test B6-versus-S90H brightness or input-lag result.

How do you make a fair buying comparison?

  1. Confirm the year and full model number. “B6” alone can refer to the 2026 model or LG’s archived 2016 B6; Samsung’s S90 range also needs a year suffix such as S90H or S90F. LG’s 2016 B6 specification sheet documents the older generation.
  2. Match screen size and market. Compare same-size sets sold in your country, and verify the exact regional model code rather than relying on a shortened retailer title.
  3. Check your setup. Note whether the TV will face reflections, which HDR formats your content sources use, and whether you game on a console or a PC capable of the relevant modes.
  4. Compare current prices on the same day. Retail prices, stock, firmware, and model availability can change. The cited product listings do not establish a stable street price or a lasting value winner.
  5. Use shared-protocol reviews for performance claims. For numerical brightness or latency comparisons, look for the same reviewer, test method, size, and comparable settings rather than combining numbers from separate outlets.

Which one should you choose?

Lean toward the 2026 Samsung S90H if Samsung’s advertised reflection reduction is important to your room or you have a PC and games capable of using its supported 4K/165Hz mode. Lean toward the 2026 LG B6 if Dolby Vision is a priority in your content setup or its advertised 4K/120Hz gaming feature set better matches your equipment. These are feature-based recommendations, not the result of a controlled head-to-head picture-quality test. The final decision should use matched sizes, local prices, and the complete regional model numbers.
