The 2026 LG B6 is a feature-rich 4K OLED available in five US size variants, from 48 to 83 inches. It brings 120Hz refresh, current gaming features and Dolby Vision support, but its limited SDR brightness makes it a less convincing choice for rooms with strong daylight or persistent glare. The main decision is whether its OLED features and price suit your room better than a brighter LG C6 or G6.
Which LG B6 models does this review cover?
This is the 2026 LG B6 OLED family, not the similarly named 2016 LG B6. The listed US model numbers are:

Check the complete model number and market before buying: LG model names and suffixes can vary by region and generation. LG Canada’s 48-inch product page identifies the OLED48B6GUA as a 2026 4K Smart TV, while RTINGS identifies the OLED65B6GUA as its tested sample and says its findings apply to the other listed sizes. That does not establish identical measurements for each size.

What features does the B6 offer?
LG’s Canadian 48-inch specifications list an α8 AI Processor 4K Gen3, a native 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, Dolby Atmos, FILMMAKER MODE and webOS 26. LG’s US listings also advertise NVIDIA G-Sync, FreeSync Premium, OLED Care and a 0.1ms response time. Treat the response-time figure and gaming badges as manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent measurements of how the TV performs in every use case.

How is the B6 for gaming and connections?
The specifications and reviews point to a well-equipped gaming TV. RTINGS lists four HDMI 2.1 ports with 48Gbps bandwidth. Tom’s Guide reports four HDMI 2.1 inputs, one of which supports eARC, plus two USB-A ports and Ethernet. TechRadar describes 4K at 120Hz, variable refresh rate, HGiG, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Dolby Vision Gaming support on the HDMI 2.1 inputs.
That combination can serve current consoles, a gaming PC and an eARC soundbar without relying on an older HDMI connection for the primary devices. The full port layout across regional variants has not been established here; consult the manual for your exact SKU if a particular socket location or connection is essential.
Is the LG B6 bright enough for your room?
Room lighting is the B6’s key practical qualification. RTINGS describes its SDR brightness as mediocre and cautions that the screen may not overcome significant glare in a bright room. In Tom’s Guide’s SDR test, the set measured 253 nits; that is one publication’s test result, not an LG rating or a guaranteed value for every size, setting or viewing condition.

If you watch mostly in a dim or controlled-light room, the brightness caveat may matter less than the B6’s OLED picture and features. For a sunlit living room, compare the B6 with brighter models in person where possible, paying attention to both measured brightness and reflections. There is no established same-lab, per-size brightness comparison here, so avoid treating one review’s number as a direct comparison across the B6 sizes.

The available evidence supports a qualitative distinction: the more expensive C6 and G6 tiers add brighter panel technologies, making the brightness difference more consequential for bright-room viewing and HDR highlights. It does not establish a complete, same-day, same-lab comparison across all models, sizes or firmware versions.
When comparing prices, weigh the difference against how much light your room gets and how you watch. A brighter tier may be worth considering if glare or HDR impact is a priority; if you chiefly watch in controlled lighting, the B6’s feature set may be enough. Compare the actual sizes and current prices you are considering rather than assuming a fixed price gap.
Mounting and buying considerations
LG’s Canadian 48-inch specification lists a VESA pattern of 300 × 200 mm. That specification is for the 48-inch Canadian listing; check the mounting pattern for the exact size and regional SKU before choosing a bracket. Prices and stock are time-sensitive, and current availability for every US model is not established here, so confirm the exact model, size and seller at purchase time.
