The 2025 Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition (Gen 10, 14ILL10) is the better fit if you want a 360-degree hinge, touch-first use or a built-in USB-A port. The 2026 Dell XPS 14 suits buyers who prefer a conventional premium laptop with three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports. Neither is a universal winner: compare the exact display and configuration available in your region, then weigh local prices for equivalent models.
Which generations are being compared?
These product names span multiple generations and configurations. This comparison is specifically about Lenovo’s 14-inch Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition Gen 10 (14ILL10, 2025) and Dell’s XPS 14 (2026). Lenovo’s specifications describe the 2025 model, while Dell’s cited regional listing is for the 2026 XPS 14. Do not assume that specifications for an older Yoga 9i or XPS 14 apply to these models.
Does the Yoga’s convertible design matter to you?
Yoga 9i: laptop, tablet and tent positions
Lenovo specifies a 360-degree hinge on the Yoga 9i. You can fold the display around for tablet-style use or set the laptop in tent or presentation positions. Its listed display options are touch-enabled, which makes the convertible design more relevant for drawing, handwritten notes or touch navigation.
XPS 14: conventional laptop design
Dell’s cited XPS 14 listing describes a laptop and does not list a convertible hinge. Its review covers a 2.8K OLED touchscreen configuration, but a touchscreen does not make the XPS a 2-in-1. If you mainly use a laptop on a desk or lap and do not need folding modes, the Yoga’s hinge may not be a deciding advantage.

Which display and configuration will you buy?
| Model and display option | Resolution and refresh rate | What the evidence covers |
|---|---|---|
| Yoga 9i, 14-inch OLED touch | 2880 × 1800; variable 30–120 Hz | Tom’s Guide reviewed this 2.8K/120 Hz variant; its measurements apply to that review unit, not every Yoga configuration. |
| Yoga 9i, 14-inch OLED touch | 3840 × 2400; 60 Hz | Listed by Lenovo; the cited review did not test this panel. |
| XPS 14, OLED touchscreen | 2.8K; refresh rate not stated on the cited Dell listing | TechRadar reviewed an OLED touchscreen configuration. |
| XPS 14, LCD | 2K; refresh rate not stated on the cited Dell listing | Listed on Dell’s Singapore product page; availability may differ by region. |
Lenovo lists an average brightness of 420.6 nits for the Yoga review unit, as measured by Tom’s Guide in its 2025 review. That is a publication test result for one configuration, not Lenovo’s rated peak HDR brightness or a guarantee for every panel. Tom’s Guide also reports 149.2% DCI-P3 for its review unit using its own test method.
Before ordering either laptop, check the exact SKU: panel type, resolution and refresh rate can differ. Dell’s available XPS configurations vary by market, and the cited Singapore listing should not be treated as a global catalog.

How do the ports compare?
| Feature | Yoga 9i 14ILL10 | XPS 14 (2026) |
|---|---|---|
| USB-C / Thunderbolt | Three USB-C connectors: two left-side Thunderbolt 4 and one right-side USB-C, according to Lenovo’s user guide. | Three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery, according to Dell’s Singapore listing. |
| USB-A | One USB-A connector. | No USB-A connector listed on Dell’s cited Singapore page. |
| Audio | 3.5 mm combo audio jack. | Audio jack. |
| Wireless | Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4; Lenovo notes Bluetooth 5.4 support may require an OS update. | Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 on Dell’s cited Singapore listing. |
If your mouse receiver, flash drive or other accessory uses USB-A, the Yoga’s built-in port can avoid carrying an adapter. With the XPS, a USB-C hub or dock is an option when you need USB-A or additional connections; whether that is a drawback depends on your accessories and whether you already carry a hub.

Lenovo lists a starting weight of 1.32 kg (2.91 lb) for the Yoga 9i. Dell’s Singapore listing gives starting weights of 1.36 kg (3.00 lb) for the 2.8K OLED XPS configuration and 1.38 kg (3.05 lb) for the 2K LCD configuration. These are manufacturer-listed starting weights for specified configurations; other SKU choices can change the weight.

Lenovo’s user guide specifies a 75 Wh battery for the Yoga, while Dell’s cited listing specifies 70 Wh for the XPS 14. Watt-hour capacity alone does not establish how long a laptop lasts in use. Tom’s Guide measured 12 hours 47 minutes for its Yoga review unit in its 2025 battery test. The cited sources do not provide an XPS result measured under the same protocol, so these figures do not establish a head-to-head battery-life winner.
What should you know about memory and storage?
Yoga 9i: choose memory carefully at purchase
Lenovo’s user guide says the Yoga’s LPDDR5X memory is integrated within the CPU package and that the system has zero memory slots. It lists one M.2 (2242) PCIe Gen 4 SSD slot. Choose enough memory for the life of the laptop when ordering, and verify the selected SKU’s storage capacity and SSD specifications.

XPS 14: verify the exact SKU
TechRadar’s 2026 XPS 14 review describes processor and configuration variations, including a reviewed high-end Core Ultra X7 model, and notes that regional offerings differ. The reviewed configurations do not establish upgradeability across all XPS 14 SKUs. Check Dell’s service documentation for the exact model and configuration before assuming memory or storage can be replaced.

A meaningful price comparison needs to match the models you can actually buy in your region. Compare memory, SSD capacity, display, warranty and any local promotion on both sides. The cited Dell page is specific to Singapore, while review and launch prices are dated snapshots from different markets and configurations; they do not provide a current, like-for-like universal price comparison.
