The launch report lists a starting price of ₹1,08,990. Lenovo’s battery figures are test-based maximum claims, not a promise of everyday runtime.
India launch price and configurations
91mobiles reported the India launch on 7 October 2026 and listed two prices: ₹1,08,990 for the starting configuration and ₹1,34,991 for the “Better” version. These are prices reported at launch, not guaranteed current offers. The same report said the top OLED configuration was not yet listed and estimated its price at ₹1.5–1.6 lakh; that range is an estimate, not a confirmed price. 91mobiles’ launch report provides the dated price snapshot.
Reported India variants
- Entry: Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, 16 GB memory and a 54.7 Wh battery; reported starting price ₹1,08,990.
- “Better”: Intel Core Ultra 7 256V with a touch display; reported price ₹1,34,991.
- Top OLED: OLED display, 1 TB storage and a 65 Wh battery; 91mobiles estimated ₹1.5–1.6 lakh because the configuration was not yet listed when it published its report.
Lenovo’s India product listing for part number 22BGA02LIG specifies a different listed configuration: Core Ultra 7 266V, 16 GB LPDDR5X, 512 GB SSD, 14-inch 1920 × 1200 IPS display rated at 400 nits and 120 Hz, and a 65 W adapter. Regional and retail configurations can differ, so check the exact part number and current seller listing before purchase. Lenovo India’s SKU page identifies that specific model.
How much does the ThinkBook 14x weigh?
Lenovo’s PSREF lists a starting weight of 990 g (2.18 lb) for the ThinkBook 14x ILL. Lenovo calls the figure approximate and says it can vary by configuration and manufacturing, so it should be read as “starting at 990 g,” not as the measured weight of every unit sold in India. The available sources do not establish an independent measured weight for each Indian retail configuration. Lenovo’s PSREF reference contains the family specifications and weight qualification.

That starting figure makes the 14x notable among 14-inch Windows laptops, but buyers comparing portability should use the weight of the exact configuration, including its charger, rather than assume every panel or battery option is equally light.
Battery capacity and Lenovo’s runtime claims
Lenovo lists 54.7 Wh and 65 Wh battery variants. Its PSREF, last modified 28 May 2026, gives the following maximum battery-life claims under named tests:

These are Lenovo’s approximate maximums from benchmark and local-video tests, not independent measurements or guaranteed working-day figures. Lenovo notes that actual battery life varies with configuration, workload, software, wireless features, power management and screen brightness; battery capacity also declines with age and use. A larger battery alone does not establish longer real-world runtime. Display type, brightness, refresh rate and workload also matter, and no independent battery test of an Indian retail unit is established here.
Display, processor, memory and storage
The family-level PSREF lists Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processor options with integrated Intel Arc graphics. Display options include 14-inch WUXGA IPS at 1920 × 1200, 120 Hz, 400 nits and 100% sRGB, with touch available on an IPS configuration; and 2.8K OLED at 120 Hz with 100% DCI-P3. Those are family options, not proof that every specification is sold in India.

Memory is soldered LPDDR5X and is not upgradeable. Lenovo lists 16 GB or 32 GB options in the family reference. Storage uses one M.2 2242 slot and one M.2 2280 slot, but confirm which slots and capacities are populated in the particular SKU rather than assuming an upgrade path from the family specification alone.
Ports and wired networking
Lenovo’s reference lists two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and HDMI, with no onboard Ethernet. Lenovo identifies a USB-C-to-Ethernet adapter as an optional way to add wired networking. If you use a wired connection or multiple peripherals, check whether the ports meet your needs or whether you will need a hub or adapter.

What to verify before buying
- Match the exact SKU: Compare the part number on the retailer listing with Lenovo’s India page. Confirm processor, display, memory, SSD, battery and included adapter; family specifications do not guarantee that every option is offered locally.
- Choose the display deliberately: Check whether the listing is IPS or OLED, its resolution and refresh rate, and whether touch is included. Do not infer touch support from the “Better” label alone.
- Buy enough memory up front: Because memory is soldered, select 16 GB or 32 GB according to your expected workload and the actual India configuration available.
- Compare runtime claims on equal terms: Distinguish MobileMark 30 results from local video playback and manufacturer claims from independent tests. They are different conditions and should not be treated as a direct prediction of your usage.
- Check the current price and availability: The ₹1,08,990 and ₹1,34,991 prices are from the 7 October 2026 launch report. Confirm the live price and configuration with Lenovo or the seller before ordering.

91mobiles names the ASUS Zenbook A14 and MacBook Air M5 as comparison points, but any battery or compatibility judgments should be treated as editorial context rather than controlled, like-for-like tests. Lenovo’s earlier global ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 announcement describes the product as “Designed for life on the move, the ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 is an ultra-thin device for users who value mobility, reliability, premium design, and personal style.” That global announcement is separate from the India launch and does not establish India pricing.
