The product page the article links to could not be opened when this was prepared, so the current price, coupon validity, stock level, and exact configuration remain unverified. The headline says 57% off, while the report describes an $850 discount and a final price just under $650. The two figures are consistent with each other: if the final price is about $650 and the discount is $850, the reference price is roughly $1,500, and $850 is about 57% of that. However, the report does not state the reference price or explain how the percentage was calculated. Treat the 57% figure as the publication’s arithmetic, not as Lenovo’s own labeling, and compare the final checkout total with the price you see on the product page at the time you buy.

Which specifications matter at this price
Memory: 16 GB is the stronger part of this spec sheet
At this price, 16 GB of memory is the feature most likely to affect daily use. It leaves room for a browser with many tabs, office documents, video calls, and several background applications running together. It is also the reason this configuration is more useful than many budget laptops that ship with 8 GB. Memory is generally not user-upgradeable on thin laptops, so the amount you buy is the amount you keep.

Storage: 512 GB is comfortable, but check the drive type
A 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD is a shorter, narrower module than the more common 2280 size. The report does not say whether the drive is replaceable, so if you plan to upgrade storage later, check the service documentation for the model before relying on it.
Display: 120 Hz is smooth, 400 nits is modest
The 1920 × 1200 resolution gives a taller working area than standard 1080p screens, which helps with documents and spreadsheets. The 120 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and window movement noticeably smoother than a 60 Hz panel. Will it run your software?
This is the decision that matters most. The Snapdragon X2 Plus is an Arm-based processor, and its suitability depends on how your applications were built. Notebookcheck says browser-based work and applications with native Arm support are the natural fit.

Apps with native Arm support
Applications compiled for Arm run directly on the processor and generally perform best. Confirm this for each important program on the software vendor’s own download or system requirements page, not only from marketing copy.
x86-only applications
Programs built only for x86 processors run through a translation layer. The report notes that translation may affect performance. If you depend on x86-only software, such as older engineering tools, certain games, or specialized utilities, test the exact version you use before buying, and ask the vendor whether it supports Arm.

Peripherals and drivers
Printers, scanners, audio interfaces, and other hardware with older drivers may not work on an Arm machine. Check the driver availability for each device you plan to connect.

The integrated Adreno X2-45 graphics are described in the report as suitable for some light video and photo editing. That is the article’s assessment, and it was not tested independently for this coverage. Heavier editing, 3D work, and modern games are outside what the report claims.
Notebookcheck also reports that the processor is about 37% faster than Apple’s A18 Pro in synthetic benchmarks. The article does not name the benchmark suite or describe its test conditions, so treat this as a reported comparison rather than a guarantee of real-world speed.

How to compare it with other laptops
If you are weighing this configuration against other offers, compare them on the same four points:
- Software compatibility: whether every application and peripheral you need runs natively or works through translation, as described above.
- Total price: the final checkout total after any coupon, tax, and shipping, and whether the coupon is valid on the day you buy.
- Display: size, resolution, refresh rate, and brightness, using the figures published by the seller or manufacturer.
- Memory, storage, and ports: the amount of each and whether the ports match your monitor, dock, and accessories.
