The Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook deal at roughly $269 was a Black Friday 2022 offer, not a verified current price. A November 25, 2022 Reddit deal post listed a 13.3-inch model with an Intel Core i3-1115G4, 8 GB of memory, and a 128 GB SSD for $269.99. No current U.S. price or stock for that exact configuration is confirmed here.
Which Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook was $269.99?
The historical deal concerned a 13.3-inch FHD touchscreen Flex 5i with an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor, 8 GB of memory, and a 128 GB SSD. The configuration and price come from a user-posted deal dated November 25, 2022, so they establish what was advertised then—not what a retailer sells it for today. See the November 2022 deal post.
Laptop Mag’s November 2022 archive also records a Black Friday Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i deal described as $130 off. That supports the timing of the promotion, but it does not establish a current discount or independently confirm present availability. View Laptop Mag’s November 2022 archive.
Is the $269 Flex 5i deal still available?
There is no confirmed current U.S. price or stock for the exact 13.3-inch, i3-1115G4 configuration. Treat $269.99 as a historical Black Friday 2022 price, not a live deal. Before buying from a retailer, check that its listing is active and verify the model number, processor, memory, storage, screen size, and final price; Flex 5i listings can refer to different generations and configurations.

Why the model number matters
“Flex 5i Chromebook” is a product-family name, not a unique specification. For example, Lenovo’s PSREF documents a different 14-inch configuration, model 83AJ002MAR, with an Intel Core i5-1235U, 8 GB of soldered memory, and a 256 GB SSD. Lenovo marks that configuration withdrawn, and it is not the 13.3-inch i3 model in the 2022 deal. Check Lenovo’s PSREF entry for model 83AJ002MAR.
Lenovo describes its 14-inch Intel Flex 5i Chromebook as a convertible, with laptop, tent, and tablet modes, and optional USI stylus support. Those details apply to the product page’s 14-inch model; specifications and included features can vary by region and exact model. Review Lenovo’s 14-inch Flex 5i product page.

What to check before buying a Flex 5i Chromebook
- Model and generation: Match the model number on the retailer listing to the manufacturer’s specifications. Do not assume two Flex 5i listings are the same device.
- Processor, memory, and storage: Confirm the CPU and capacity of RAM and SSD; the 2022 $269.99 listing was an i3 model with 8 GB and 128 GB, while Lenovo’s withdrawn example has an i5, 8 GB, and 256 GB.
- Screen and form factor: Check the display size and resolution, whether it is a touchscreen, and whether the listing confirms convertible modes.
- Price and availability: Confirm current stock, seller, and checkout price directly on the retailer’s live listing. A past Black Friday discount does not predict today’s price.
- Stylus: If pen input matters, confirm USI compatibility for the exact model and whether a stylus is included or sold separately.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
